About Me
I am an Ofsted registered childminder graded 'Outstanding' in my last inspection (May 2019). I am also a Mum to 2 lovely girls. We live in Littleborough in a spacious four bedroomed house situated on a quiet cul de sac. We have a fully equipped playroom and large enclosed garden. I completely understand that selecting childcare is one of the most important decisions for parents to make and ensuring that your little one is happy and settled is paramount. I provide good quality, reliable and flexible childcare while closely adhering to the EYFS.
We enjoy messy play, sensory play, music, story time and rhyme, fun with dance, forest school as well as trips to the local children's centre, the library, the park, toddler gym, soft play, nature walks and much more. I provide a variety of activities allowing children to develop, grow and learn through play in a safe and friendly setting. I provide healthy homemade meals, snacks and drinks and we also sometimes make use of our large planting troughs at the bottom of the garden to plant, care for and finally pick delicious fruit and veg. I offer school drop offs/pickups from Littleborough Community Primary school which is a short few minute walk across the field opposite our house. I am registered with Ofsted, hold a Paediatric First Aid certificate and have all relevant qualifications to care for babies/children in my home. I have lots of childcare experience including school pick ups/drop offs as well as caring for my own 2 lovely children.

Our daughter has been with Jenna from the age of ten months and the emotional wrench of leaving her and going back to work was huge! Jenna immediately put all of my worries to bed and if you are looking for an environment that is "home from home" you need look no further.
Jenna has a real softness to her and is so attentive to each child's specific needs. What is so lovely is that because she is so involved with the children and because she is so amazing at planning activities based around every child's age, the children very quickly seem to make very close friends and really bond.
Jenna goes above and beyond what I thought a childminders role would be and I am thrilled to have found her. If my daughter needed a cuddle, she would get it, if my daughter was having an off day, I would always pick her up at the end of the day in a happier mood than when I left her.
Jenna plans excellent activities from trips to the library for story time to museums and parks. She also plans lovely in house activities and I've always been lucky enough to receive lovely Mother's Day gifts made by my daughter. Parties are also a big thing and there are always lots of oppotunities for the little ones to dress up and dance or do crafts based around a theme.
Now my little girl is almost three, it's now time for her to start nursery. We're so sad to be leaving Jenna.
Hopefully, this review will convince any new mummies and daddies like We were just how fantastic this lady really is!

I have been using Jenna as a childminder for my daughter, aged 5, since she first started childminding.
I have found her to be extremely reliable, responsible, kind, and really understanding of children's needs. My daughter, being quite a shy child, feels really comfortable and setted in her care. She is also really fun and clearly passionate about what she does and as a result delivers, in my opinion, a fantastic experience for all children in her care.
She puts a lot of thought and planning into the children's activities which really help with your child's development, e.g. themed days, arts and crafts, cooking, singing, days out to the farm, walks and lots more!!
I couldn't recommend her highly enough :)
