I am a mother of one and I have been a registered childminder with Ofsted since 2005.
I left college with a level 3 diploma in nursery nursing but decided to have a family shortly after, childminding was the best way I could stay at home with my son and be able to work with children.
I love my job so much and think there is nothing better than having a house full of children.
My amazing team consists of myself with 19 years experience
Deputy manager Victoria a.k.a. pink, who has 8 years experience working as an assistant
she is a fully DBS checked
first aided , safeguard training, food hygiene trained
level two chef qualifications
and full clearance from OFSTED and social services to work with children

We work Monday - Friday 7 .15 am - 530 pm
We work most school holidays unless away ourselves
If you do not get any help with childcare payment or, UC credits or tax credits ,
And worry about paying while we are on holiday we have “special” rates available

We have proof of ofsted approvals for all assistants
we have a 7 seater car and a 15 seater mini bus
we all hold a full driving licence
I am currently caring for kids between the ages of 8 months and 11 years. I am looking to take on new children as a few of mine are off to full time school and nursery this year .
I am fully DBS checked
I have a paediatric first aid certificate.
I have public liability insurance.
I am a member of the Morton and Michael
We attend soft play sessions , walking , parks , wild fowl parks, farms , Beamish and lots more.
I provide child care to children aged 0 to 18.
WE OFFER 5 HRS FREE CHILDCARE IN YOUR FIRST WEEK
( if you have more than 1 child you must use the hours all at same time and in first week only)
We have a great routine which can be easily implemented.

My Experience
I gained most of my experience while achieving my grades in college which was a 3 year course where I had to go into the work force and be signed off for what I could achieve with the children.
I achieved a level 3 in Diploma in childcare and education.
While I attended college I was voted class representative 3 years running which was amazing to feel trusted with the others in my class.
I have worked in all aspects of care including special needs placements which i really enjoyed as it was a great challenge.
From leaving college I worked in a private nursery for a year as supply and then went on to child minding in 2005.
MY BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT: been asked to provide childcare for Sophie Ellis baxtor at the air show xx

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.50 per hour
my fees are:
£4.50 per hour Minimum amount of hours taken are 10 hrs per week.
20 hours for under 4 year olds
I accept 15/30 hour funding
£ 6 per hour after 6 pm this is for lateness only

My little girl had a previous childminder but due to moving home and having to move schools we had to move her childminders which was a massive worry for us but Jamie has been absolutely brilliant and my little girl absolutely loves going, she comes home with the biggest smile on her face telling us how much fun she has had! She keeps us updated at all times which is very reassuring to us. I cannot recommend her enough! Thank you Jamie for treating our daughter like one of your own! xx

Jaimie has been keeping x2 of my children for 5 years. After previously using private nursery’s the flexibility of a child minder when the elder child started school was what I was looking for. It’s the best decision I ever made. The care and love she has for all of the kids is easily seen. I left her with a very shy crying baby girl and she gave me back a confident well socialised little girl. My son transitioned from nursery to Jaimie like a duck to water. It would not be right not to mention Pink who is beyond amazing with the kids. Jaimie has a beautiful clean safe home. They’re not like child minders they’re like family. I honestly cannot recommend them enough, I couldn’t have gotten to the end of my degree without them. If you have any doubts just go and visit you will be sold on sight!

All 3 of my kids have been cared for by Jaimie amazing childminder. Nothing is ever too much trouble very approachable my kids loved her and her team.

My daughter has been with Jamie for a few years now and she absolutely loves it. Jamie was very welcoming from the very beginning and my daughter felt straight at home there. Both herself and Pink have been amazing, loving and very patient with her and extremely supportive with both of us. We both trust them completely and I wouldn't want my daughter anywhere else. I would highly recommend Jamie and staff to anyone looking for childcare.

Jamie has looked after both my children for many years. I wouldn’t want my children with anyone else. She is kind and caring. She has always gone above and beyond as a childminder. She teaches them also which really helps along side school. My son is 18 now and still has fond memories of being in Jamie’s care. My daughter who is 8 loves to go and even asked to go when I don’t require child care. I can’t recommend her enough and her house is always at a high standard of cleanliness, her meals she provides are always to a good standard.
I have always found Jamie to be approachable and will help with any issues or concerns. Look no further for a excellent childminder your children will be in safe hands with Jamie and her team.

Jaimie has had our baby girl since she was 9 weeks old and now at 8 months old, willow loves going to see her every day. It's such a relaxed environment and she gets to do so many different activities. The older kids always make her feel very welcome and greet her at the door every day "it's baby willow!". The only problem is that I think willow gets spoiled... ;-) it seems she gets special treatment from everyone as she is the youngest so she gets spoilt when in childcare and then spoilt at home too. Jaimie has always been really receptive when I've had any suggestions or queries on willow, and I regularly receive videos, pictures and texts of her which really brighten up my day. Highly recommended. The drop off service of an evening makes our lives so much easier too.
