About Me
Hello, I live in central Bidford upon Avon with my Husband and two children. We have a fully enclosed garden with various toys for all ages. We also have a separate playroom fully equipped with different toys for everyone's interest.
I have worked in Child minding for many successful years. I offer a friendly home from home environment, as this has proven to make children and parents fill at ease whilst they are in my care. I can be flexible and accommodating where possible to our clients needs. I am a fully registered childminder with Ofsted and have been recently inspected and have been rated "Good". I mainly work within the Early years sector providing effective on-going learning to help the children under my care to develop self esteem, well being, independence and confidence. Giving children the best start in their journey of learning so when they start Pre-school, they are ready and confident.
I have a play room and a fully enclosed garden for children to explore and play safely in all weathers.
My Experience
My experience with child minding started when my two children were born. Over my years of childminding I furthered honed my experience by attending various different training courses learning new skills on the way. This can be from helping children settle in with ease, so parents can fill comfortable when leaving their child in my care. Children have also been my learning curve as they are all different and require different approaches to help them feel confident and settle.

Peadiatric First Aid trained with St Johns Ambulance
Triple P course (Postive Parenting Programme)
CRB Checked
EYFS cousres for setting up home based child care
level 3 diploma in children and young peoples workforce early learning and childcare.

Our little girl absolutely loves it at Heidi and Matts. She's settled in fantastic and is always tired when she comes home and seems to love all the activities she does during the day. We couldn't recommend a better childminder :-)

My son has settled in well and is very happy at Heidi's. There is always plenty of activities to do and they go to groups and get out and about alot, which I think is very important. When I drop him off he is very happy to go in which is really reassuring.
I can highly recommend Heidi , she is flexible and would do anything she possibly can to help and accomodate your needs :-)))))

My 2 and half year son has been with Heidi since the end of May and he absolutely loves it...
My son attends 4 and a half days a week and every day he is upto something exciting they keep the children very busy with lots of indoor and outdoor activities! Over the last few months I have seen my son change he is learning a lot Heidi has helped him learn different colours and counting.
On a number of occasions my son has fallen asleep as soon as we have got home cause he has been non stop all day.
Nearly every day my son asks for Heidi and asks if he can go back tomorrow and play.
When my son started with Heidi he was very attached to his dummy but after a small amount of time Heidi managed to get him to not have his dummy except for nap times.
Heidi has also helped me with the process of putting my son in a proper bed and suggested reward charts which has worked amazingly well.
I would highly recommend Heidi as a childminder as I feel that my son is in very safe hands and is like his second home and the prices are reasonable :).

Met Heidi and her 2 children today to discuss my requirements for my 2 grandaughter's. Very comfortable, easy going family, my grandaughter's certainly made themselves at home! Heidi is very flexible and willing to help in every way she can. Both of my grandaughter's are really looking forward to spending time with her and I am equally happy to use Heidi's services.
