About Me

Hello, I am a fully qualified childminder



I started my childcare experiences as a mum to four children, then i became a parent helper at my sons pre-school then my final placement was as a senior room leader at a nursery. During my time as a childcare professional I have completed additonal training and have lots of experience with babies, physical development training and 2-3yr old develomental milestones and assessments .

I have worked with chldren between the ages of 0-8yrs and undertaken various training to enhance My knowledge of child development to ensure i can help them develop, learn, and prepare them for the next stage in their lives.

I am DBS checked as are all my grown up family that live with me, first aid trained , which is updated at least every three years, i have behavioural managment and additional needs training (this is to name a few qualifications i have).

I have current certificates in food hygiene and hold a 5* rating from the food standards agency. I pride my self on healthy, fresh, daily homecooked meals to provide the children with nutritious tasty food working towards their 5 a day recommended fruit and vegetable intake.

I aim to provide a calm, homely, stimulating and educational enviroment where all children can learn , flourish, experience new things and make new friends. I will be making the most of our local community and going out on walks and trips and visiting other social childcrare groups to maximise social interactions.

I currently do school drop offs and collections from St.Johns Primary school to help accomodate parents who need before and after school care only.

I can offer term time only or full time placements. I fully appreciate how difficult it can be to compromise work and chilcare so I will try and be as flexiable as i can with your requirements.
