About Me
Hi my name is Karli, I live in Torrington with my husband, I have 3 children (all moved out), 1 grandson and another soon to arrive (granddaughter). I have been childminding now for 13 years, my working hours are 7.00am until 5.30 Tuesday to Thursday. I cover local pre-school, nursery and school drop offs and pick ups.
I have a breath of early years experience and like to provide a home from home environment for the children in my care.
My Experience
I have worked in early years for approximately 23 years and also brought up my own three children. I am currently Ofsted Good and do my job to the best of my ability. I enjoy allowing the children to be children and encourage fun. Activities for the children are based on their likes and dislikes and very much child initiated with adult interaction always at hand if needed.
My Qualifications
I hold a BA ( Hons ) in Early years and hold all necessary certificates to child mind - such as first aid, DBS, CYPOP5, food hygiene, I have also attended many other courses linked to physical development, heathy living and communication and language. I work in good partnerships with other local Early Years Providers.
My Availability
I am currently full to capacity with a waiting list. However, please don’t let that put you off enquiring as at times things do change.
