About Me
My name is Margaret and I am an OFSTED registered childminder. I now live at Wellesley with my husband and two children; a girl aged 17 and a boy aged 14.
I also have a very friendly young dog and guinea pigs.
I offer a safe, reliable, welcoming and secure homely environment, with a safe, enclosed and all-weather garden.
I am within walking distance of local parks, playing fields and wooded areas. I am able to conduct drop offs and pick ups at local pre-schools.
I offer the children in my care a wide, exciting and interesting range of educationally based activities including arts and crafts, baking, outdoor play, messy play, sand and water play, dressing up, reading, games and puzzles. I also attend local groups to allow the children to mix and develop their social skills.
I am happy to accommodate any special dietary requirements and can offer a range of healthy snacks and home cooked meals.
My Experience
I have over 29 years’ childcare experience, and have accrued extensive knowledge and understanding of looking after babies and children across a wide range of ages and capabilities, including caring for premature babies and those suffering with eating and learning difficulties, special needs, and severe speech sound disorders. I am a keen practitioner of baby sign language for hearing babies, having used it with great success with my own children, and I am more than happy to supply references.
My Qualifications
Level 3 Diploma in Children's and Young People's Workforce.
Safeguarding Level 3,
Safeguarding Level 4
Cypop 5 in Understanding how to set up a home based childcare service.
Pediatric First Aid (including management of catastrophic bleeding).
Epi Pen training.
Child Protection Level 2
Prevent Duty
Registered with OFSTED.

My Availability
The hours I work are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 8:00am-6pm, but I am flexible to negotiation.
I work half terms and school holidays.
