About Me
I am a mother of 3 children ages 23, 19 and 6. I enjoy being outside and doing activities. I like new experiences and encourage my children to learn by experiencing new things. The children in my care benefit from attending a number of play groups during the week and I make full use of the toy library. I take pride in making the home a comfortable and secure place. Although I organise activities to stimulate the children I also run a relaxed routine which incorporates quieter times between the activities. We have a small dog and a tortoise.
I take and pick up from Mary hill infants and Ashfield primary.
My Experience
I have worked in a special needs school for the past 8 years as a qualified nursery nurse and before that I worked as a teaching assistant in a mainstream school for 2 years. I gave up working in the school after having my third child.
My Qualifications
I am a qualified nursery nurse NVQ level 3 early years care and education.

Sarah looked after my son Hayden for over 3 years and has not only been an outstanding childminder but also a great friend. Hayden enjoyed all the outdoor activities and days out With Sarah, she would take him to the park on a daily basis and also take him to playgroup, soft play, farms, train rides plane watching... too much to mention. Hayden would say everyday what a good day he had with Sarah and the other children she looks after. He would also enjoy explaining all the new things he had learnt that day whether it be numbers, words or how to make playdoh from scratch. He now says how much he misses her now he has started school. Hayden has developed well throughout the years and part of that is due to Sarah, I can't thank her enough I would highly recommend Sarah as a childminder.
