About Me

My name is Nikki from Wiggles and Giggles Childminding. I live in the Tuffley area of Gloucester close to shops, schools and the number 10 bus is opposite my house. I live with my partner Steve and my 20 year old Daughter Keira. I am a mum to three children and four grandchildren.

My Experience

I have been an Ofsted Registered Childminder since December 2005. I was awarded a ‘good’ during my last Ofsted Inspection. I currently have 20 children on my books ranging from the age of 9 months to 7 years but am registered to care for children from 3 months to 12 years.

I have two assistants working with me during the day and we am registered to care for 9 children under the age of 8 years.

I have public liability insurance with Childcare.co.uk

We go to various toddler groups and soft play areas as well as going out into the local community.

My Qualifications

I have a CACHE level 3 diploma in Home Based Childcare, a level 3 NVQ in Chidlrens Care, Learning and Development, a level 3 NVQ in Playwork

I have also carried out various other training such as Paediactric First Aid, Child Protection, Equality and Diversity, level 2 food hygiene and Disability Awareness training.
