Ideal childcare

We have been recommended to use Just like Home Childcare owned and run by Katie Heal for our baby boy and we are so grateful for it.
The care, love and safe entertainment that has been provided there for Arthur has been no short than outstanding.
What Katie and her team have created is the perfect combo in between the warmth of a childminder's home and the structure and fun educational entertainment of a nursery.
Arthur loved going there. He felt safe and happy there. He enjoyed playing with his little friends, the delicious homemade meals, the fun activities and the outings in the van and so much more!
Without forgetting Teddie the dog who made Arthur feel home from day one.
As parents we loved receiving daily updates of what Arthur was up to, with detailed comments and photos. Just perfect.
It has been a real privilege for us to have Arthur at Just Like Home Childcare and we feel so lucky that Arthur started his social life under Katie's and Vicky's care.

Incredibly kind and professional care

Katie has pulled out all the stops to make our little one feel at home with her. Her communication is excellent, she is full of ideas about how to make things work for my daughter and she clearly genuinely cares about her. I have been so impressed since first meeting Katie and her family and team, she is absolutely brilliant.

Brilliant!

I have 2 children, a 5yr old and a 10 yr old and this is the first time I've ever used a childminder so there was lots of apprehension all round before we discovered Katie that is.I just wish I'd found them sooner.
I've been wanting to get back to my career for a long time and was feeling frustrated that I didn't have the adequate childcare especially during the school holidays but it seems my worries have all disappeared. My children love spending time at her house, and my son groans when I pick him up. He thinks it's one giant play date. There's lots of children of varying ages which was really important to me having a slightly older child and I love the fact that there's more than one adult to hand so that they can split the group up into various age appropriate activities.
I cannot recommend Katie enough.

Very good!

Finding Katie and her family was such a godsend! My son has been with katie for almost a year now, but settled in straight away. Katie and John have a lovely welcoming family home, perfectly set up for and revolving around the children, and they have really enveloped my son as part of their "extended family". Katie provides varied and healthy home cooked food and is great at organising fun activities. She also does "cuddles on the sofa" when he's feeling off colour! I love that she encourages all the children to be polite and considerate, and her own children set a great example. Katie always keeps me up to date with what has happened during the day so I still feel involved with my son's life even when I'm not with him. The daily diary is great, and I look forward to reading it when I get home from work. She has also been very flexible on occasions when I've had to work unexpectedly late, or swap working days. When I drop off my boy in the morning, I leave knowing that he will be very well cared for, happy, and probably having far more fun than he does with mummy!

Highly recommended!

I can't recommend Katie and her services enough, our daughter Betsy has been cared for by Katie since she was 9 months old and thrives in the home from home environment provided.

Knowing Betsy is so well looked after and settled has made my transition back to work all the more easier and the daily diary helps keeps me across all her activities! It is also great to have flexibility around the days and hours we need her cared for which isn't always easy to find.

It can be a really daunting prospect looking for suitable childcare and we feel lucky to have found such a great family for Betsy to be part of.

Great childminder!

We have been with Katie since last August now and we are extremely happy with the setting that she provides. Due to my partner and l working in the catering industry it was important for us to find flexible childcare which didn't tie us to set days, otherwise my partner would never get to see his son!!!

Katie and John offers a wonderful family environment, with a fantastic playroom that my son thouroughly enjoys and a varied age group of children that he can also socialise with.

All in all, when my partner and l are at work l can rest at ease knowing my child are with experienced and caring people who will contribute to his character and development.
