I am a very outgoing and happy person, which is reflected in the children I look after. I have two children who are 28 and 30 years old. I live Welwyn Garden City and currently pick up and drop off at Commonswood Primary School .
I have over 29 years experience.
I am registered with Ofsted with all relevant checks and training.
I have been a childminder for over 29 years and have excellent references. I have looked after a vast range of children from three months old up to 14 years, from a variety of back grounds. Our daily routines involve toddler groups, parks, activity centres,museums, messy play, painting, farm outings and story times. I pride myself on good interaction with the children in my care encouraging group play involving sharing.
I provide a clean, safe and fun environment for children, which includes a large dedicated play room. I like to plan activities to ensure the children in my care develop not only physically but also emotionally and socially.
I provide healthy and well balanced meals, including snacks.

We moved to Welwyn Garden City with our 2 years old daughter 7 months ago and we were very worried to find someone but then we found Kim and Leanne. They have been amazing in organising the transition, very attentive to our daughter’s needs and understanding her personality, what she likes or don’t.
Despite the pandemic, they make sure the kids discover the world and develop their social skills. We could have not asked for better care for our daughter and she is so happy to be with them everyday.

Lovely childminder. My daughter has been going to Kim since she was 10 months and now nearly 3 years. She loves going there, Kim is always cheerful and happy to look after. They do lots fun activities and go to exciting places. Her communicates well and sends photos throughout the day. I would highly recommend. I have had my second baby and will be seeking for a place from her.

our Little man has been with Kim for 5 months now ( he was 9 months when he started) and honestly we couldn’t have asked for better people to look after, entertain and educate him. He spends 3 full days with Kim and loves going there which at such a young age was so important to us, when picking him up he is never in a rush to leave and to me that means he is one happy boy! They are always on adventures to farms, soft play and many other things. As he is an only child we wanted to ensure he learns how to share, play and socialise well with other children and he is getting that in spades with all the other great kids that he spends his days with. He comes home after 3 lovely meals which allows us to spend all our evening with him instead of cooking. They are flexible when needed as I travel by train and my partner Works away from home, it gives us piece of mind that he won’t be sat waiting for us.We saw a lot of minders before choosing our one and honestly they’re better than we could have wished for and we would highly recommend to anyone.

My daughter has absolutely loved her time with Kim and Leanne. She attended 2 days a week from 9 months to 2 years. Right from the start she settled really quickly and was really happy to go. She made lots of friends and enjoyed the daily morning trips out including trips to the farm, garden centre, soft play and toddler groups to name but a few. Kim and Leanne were very accomodating when I needed to work extra hours/days or when we were running late due to delays on the trains or traffic.
We were sad to leave due to us relocating.
