My Experience

I have a lot of experience in working with young children. I worked part time in a nursery for 3 years where I took on all roles working with all ages children. I volunteer at two youth groups a week for children ages between 4 & 13, I have been on placements in a range of schools, childminders and nurseries and have worked on a part time basics in a nursery. I have also babysat for three families one who has one boy who is now 10, and two families who have two young children.
In my childminding career I have cared for many children including children who have English as an additional language (EAL) and children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). This includes; cerebral palsy, autism, epilepsy, chronic lung disease, speech and language delay and visual impairments. I am also very willing to undertake necessary training to meet the needs of individual children as much as possible.

My husband who I live with is a registered with OFSTED as a childminding assistant, has a full DBS Certificate, a food hygiene certificate and a short first aid certificate. As there are plans for him to become a full time assistant at the setting he will get his Full First Aid Certificate when mine is ready for renewal.

My Availability

8:00am - 5:00pm but can be flexible depending on families needs.

Recently started offering evening babysitting to parents who are on my books too.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
• Childminding from £4.50 per hour

Upcoming availability- September 2023
For all ages, full day care, mornings, afternoons, before and after school care (wellgate primary school), nursery pick ups (wellgate nursery). Please get in touch to discuss your requirements.

£4.50 per hour - including all snacks, meals, drinks, outings, transport, crafts and everything else. Just bring nappies, Wipes (and milk if necessary)
