About Me
SHINE BRIGHT LIKE A DIAMOND.
Twenty one years ago I had a dream of creating a good quality provision that was rich and ambitious and for children to feel safe and secure, and to hear their own laughter as they conquer those milestones and more.
I am proud of my vision of being unique in a field that I adore. My commitment, passion and ambitions are second to none and for me this is my very own unique golden thread through my Little Diamonds.

I am also a member of the National Literacy Trust and this enables me to keep fully up to date within my own unique toolkit of important information within our early years wider world.
My curriculum is our magical world of adventure where we explore through the seven areas of our beautiful Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.

I have achieved many qualifications since I started my childminding career.

Our little girl, Jane, loves, loves, loves Dawnie. We are so blessed to know Dawn and to have the opportunity for Jane to spend her preschool years with Dawn.
Dawn’s professionalism, commitment to top-notch early education, heart for the children, warmth, kindness and care make her one of a few diamonds you will come across in your life when it comes to the care of your little ones.
Another thing we love about Dawn is her good naturedness, positivity and humour as this is so important for little ones and their development. Jane comes home with the funniest little stories and experiences, which both put our minds at ease and give us all a good chuckle.
Dawn is also incredibly helpful when it comes to working with family and parents as a team to raise the kids. She keeps us in the loop, collaborates on learning, offers support when needed (she’s helped me out with some very stressful life moments big and small) and is always willing and happy to offer her hand. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate and value her kindness and generosity.
Jane could not be a happier more well adjusted little girl. She has been with Dawn for close to two years now, and her emotional, social, academic and spiritual growth is wonderful to see. We certainly have Dawn to thank for helping us care for and teach Jane.
Dawn is one in a million, so if you have the chance to, don’t hesitate, go for it. Your little diamond will thank you. ☺️

My work is my passion and I feel so blessed to be on this incredible journey with you to. Jane is the smartest child I have ever cared for and I am honoured to be in this great partnership with you.
Jane is achieving well above her age and as left the foundation stage well behind her and this is a credit to a fantastic partnership work between us.
Jane is a true little diamond and reaching those milestones with such ease that it really brings me to cry those happy tears in pure amazement of what this little girl is capable of achieving.
I know that Jane as a very bright future ahead of her as a great achiever.

Dawn has been caring for my 2 children for months now and I couldn’t recommend her and her services high enough!
My girls absolutely love going and spending time with Dawn. She is truly amazing at what she does and is amazing with my children.

Our little boy has been attending with Dawn for almost a year now and it was the best decision we ever made. It was a very thoughtful decision when choosing a childminder, as we were transitioning from a mainstream nursery and knew that he needed to be in a more attentive and intimate environment for his more reserved and quiet nature. We got very lucky to get a position with Dawn, Lake has come on leaps and bounds in such a short time, his confidence continues to grow and the knowledge and skills he’s coming home with now we know that he will be ready and thrive when it’s time to go to school. It’s a much more homely feel and we are so comfortable with Dawn. She’s full of energy and ready to go everyday, so very passionate and completely submerges into the kids and you can tell she wants to do the best she can. Which is outstanding!
Dawn brings out any potential in terms of educational development and general people skills with Lake. We genuinely feel that this is not just paying for somebody to look after your child, it is an investment into your child’s development and future.
I would highly recommend Dawn to anyone and we will definitely be choosing her again for our second child without a doubt!

My children aged 20 months and 4 years old have been going to dawns since jan 2023. Dawn is an exceptional child minder. She has such a postive effect on my children. My children ask in a morning is it 'dawnie day or mummy day?' and they want to go to dawns.
Dawn has been working with my 4 yearold since she was 3 on school readiness. she has really improved in her ability to hold a pencil - her knowledge has become more enhansed too but what really pleases me is that she has instilled a love of learnig ito my daughter
my son's language skills are improving with dawns imput
i would recommend dawn as a childminder

Our 2 year old daughter has been attending Dawn's setting for around 3 months now after moving from a nursery and we couldn't be happier. She settled really well in Dawn's care and we were reassured all the way with lots of photos. She gets the opportunity to take part in a range of activities and the love and care Dawn has for the children she looks after is evident. This is definitely more than just a job for her.

Elsie really is the little diamond that shines so very brightly in my setting. This little girl is just amazing and I love her dearly. Elsie has an abundance of love and care for all around and she always brings a huge smile has she is reaching for those milestones and more.
