My Experience
was a hairdresser for many years as my children grew up and was out with friends a lot I missed the noisey house ha ha . Have always been surrounded by children. worked in schools as Lsa
A early years practitioner in a school nursery.
I could write pages all about me and what I can do but I find it so much better for families and children to come and meet me and my family and have sessions to see if they are happy with what i do and can see for themselves.
I have a child friendly dog called Luna

I had my Ofsted inspection this week and very happy to say I kept my outstanding grade last one was in March 2011 I got outstanding through out every standard :) all childminding requirements Ofsted approved NVQ 3 childcare and development first aid for children . I am now a accredited childminder also be able to run Nursery sessions which the local concil pay for up to 30 hours a week depending where your earnings. I have now been assessed to the NCMA Children Come First, Quality Assurance Scheme and I'm now a member of the Suffolk Childminding Network. Ive completed my Play worker NVQ 3 too. senco trained I was also in the final 3 for childminder of the year in 2010 in suffolk :)

My 2 year old son has been with Rachael for nearly 6 months and I couldn't ask for a better person to leave him with! Rachael and Marion are the most kind, loving and caring people.
My son has days out to farms, parks, local library's and play centres which I think is amazing!
His speech and development has come on leaps and bounds since he started with Racheal.
I honestly couldn't recommend anyone higher.

I’ve known Rachel and Marion for over 10 years and they’ve looked after both my children. I could not have asked for better childminders. They are the kindest, most loving and most professional team. They always go above and beyond. To us, they are an extention to our family. Do not hesitate to engage their services.

Rachael has been a minder to my two girls for nearly four years ,they have had great experiences in their time with her from day trips out ,to farms parks play centers and library visits,my youngest came on leaps and bounds and rachael helped her pick up her alphabet and numbers at an early age .has taught her about different religions, my girls were and are still super excited to spend time at rachaels during the holidays ,on certain days racael would do one on one with my youngest so much so she has just started reception and is already reading on her own ...can not thank racaels enough for her time and effort with my girls , brilliant childminder

Racheal and Marion have been childminding my daughter for a year now and I can honestly say I don't know what I would do without either one of them!! My daughter has turned from a shy little girl who hides behind your legs to a natural leader. Coupled with her starting school Racheal and Marion have played a massive part in this as they have cared, encouraged and allowed her to grow. I feel confident going to work each day knowing that my daughter will arrive at school each day and that she is well cared for after school.
Racheal and Marion go above and beyond what anyone would expect from childminders and have created a real family environment whilst still ensuring that the children meet their development milestones. I feel like we’ve struck gold with this pair!

Our son went to Rachael and her assistant Marion when he was just seven months old – we have sadly moved away from Ipswich closer to London, otherwise I would have kept him with them until school. Or really until he was 18 if they had allowed it!
He was with them for 15 months full time (8-6, M-F), going from a little baby who couldn’t even sit up, to a bouncy, brave, spirited, chatty and very mobile toddler. I have no doubt that all his brilliant development is down to the work that Rachael and Marion have put in. Rachael sends photos every day and updates, and I see nature workshops, painting, forest trips, petting zoo, farms, soft play, lunches out, museum, seaside, paddling pools in the summer, swings…etc. Seriously, he has more adventures than I’ve had! What they do is plan ahead. Something is always set up and ready to go, and each day is structured. Every day is play, but also he was constantly learning new things.
My son adored going and bounced at the front door waiting to be let in. He also loved all the other kids, who also benifited from Rachael and Marion’s care so are just a nice bunch of kids.
We didn’t know anyone when we moved back to Ipswich with our son, so Rachael has acted as our single person support network - at one stage or another she’s been a replacement for an NCT class, a doctor, a teacher, a health visitor, my own mum and most of all a friend.
What they don’t know about kids isn’t worth knowing and they really go over and above for their kids and their parents. Any family would be lucky to have them. Our new childminder has said my son is a delight to look after, and is talking so well for his age – it’s all down to Rachael and Marion. We miss them dearly.
