About Me
My name is Ruth Ramejkis, I have 2 children, Claire who is 32 and has 3 children of her own, a boy aged 4, a boy aged 2 and 11 month old daughter and my son Chris who is 29 also has 3 children, a 2 year old son and 4 month old identical girls. My grandchildren love being around my extended family and play lovely together to the point where they share special bonds
I have a enhanced C.R.B check.
I live in a non smoking household and no visitors are allowed to smoke inside my home.
I had always longed to become a childminder and felt that the time was right to follow my dream as my own children are now independent adults. All of my family are very supportive of my chosen career and interact well with the children.
I am a very friendly person and like to make parent's feel happy to leave their children in my care. I love my job and take great delight watching the children reach their milestones and knowing that I have helped them to achieve them.
I provide a happy, safe and fun enviroment for my extended family and provide home cooked healthy meals, snacks and drinks.
I have a 7 seater car for trips out for all the children in my care which is also insured for the children.
My Experience
I am a Ofsted Registed Childminder and I have completed training that allows me to deliver the E.Y.F.S (Early Years Foundation Stage) to level 3.
I am also very proud to say I gained a good in every area of the three Ofsted inspections that I have had.
My Qualifications
I have the following qualifications:
Paediatric First Aid: including dealing with unconsciousness, resuscitation,accidents,common childhood illness and medical conditions.
I have completed the full diploma in home based childcare
Safeguarding children
Data protection and confidentiality
I have recently done a short course on protecting against the e-bola virus
My Availability
I am available 7.30-5.30pm Monday to Friday but I am willing to be flexible with these times if possible/needed.
I live in the Old Swan area and I am on a direct bus route into the City Centre which takes roughly 20 mins by bus
