About Me
Hi I'm Elenita, I am known by my nickname Lennie. I have lived in Chineham, Basingstoke for 23 years. My husband is registered as my assistants. We are all CRB checked. We are fully vaccinated.
My Experience
I am accredited to provide Early Years Education which entitles parents to claim up to 30 hours of childcare per week. My ethos is to provide a loving home environment which is fun and safe for the child (ren). I discuss and implement house rules with the children for them to understand the importance of their actions and impact on others feelings and emotions.
I have a 5 bedroom house and a big garden. I provide a free flow access from indoor to outdoor activities and create an environment that fosters curiosity and exploration that enhances their knowledge and understanding of the world.
I implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to help them prepare for the next steps of their development with full confidence and enthusiasm to try new things and enjoy life.
My Qualifications
Level 3 in Childminding Practice
I am insured, CRB checked
Paediatric First Aid
Completed courses in Child Protection, Management Behaviour & Early Years Foundation Stage.
I continuously attend courses/training so I am up to date on current legislation and also enhance my knowledge and skills.
My last OFSTED Inspection in November 22 is GOOD.

Lennie and Michael have been an absolute god send. My boy has settled so well and so quickly with them which has been a huge relief. He comes home so happy and has really shown such amazing progress in his development since starting at lennie’s as she helps to teach them independence. Lennie provides great updates and pictures in the day where possible and takes the children out on fun days out to different places. I have even received my first bit of art work that my 15 month old has done which was so lovely 🥰 we couldn’t recommend them enough. Thank you Lennie & Michael xx

Lennie has taken on my son after having looked after my daughter for the last 8 years and she has been consistent with her care of our children. Both have absolutely loved being part of Lennie’s “family”. My son gets very excited each morning about going to Lennie’s and in fact it’s become the incentive to him each morning so we can get out of the house on time! Lennie still takes the children to some great places to see and do things outside and in, gives them fantastic opportunities to experience new things and meet new people. Lennie has clear boundaries and asserts positive behaviour traits, which is helping to shape my son in to a polite and respectful little boy, just like she did with my daughter.

We are so lucky to find Elenita. She is a fantastic childminder, caring and patient. She's been looking after our children for almost 3 years now and we know that they are safe with her and we trust her. She offers home from home environment and we see that our children are very happy there. Elenita takes children to different playgroups and also offers a big variety of activities at home: arts and crafts, singing, story times and dancing. She organises trips to the cinema, theatre, animal farms, zoo, parks and paddling pools. She teaches children how to respect others, to say thank you, please and sorry. My older son can now recognise and write some letters and numbers in preparation for school. I could not recommend Elenita highly enough, she is a one in a million! Thank you for all your help Lennie!

Lennie
We have been with Lennie since my son was eleven months old. The environment that Lennie has created for the children is nurturing, caring and provides them with a stable "home from home" whilst helping them to grow. Lennie has been extremely flexible and is very reliable. It is sad that the one review that states she is unreliable has not actually experienced the care that Lennie provides.

Our daughter has been with Lennie since 6 months old and she loves Lennie. We also think she offers and gives a great service. Lennie is consistent and fair and treats the children with the respect they are due. Her support has been faultless even to the point Lennie has not taken 1 day ill in the last 5 years, so we've had zero issues with last minute care requirements. We highly recommend her service.
