About Me
I have been a childminder since 2002 and I have been graded Good from Ofsted. I live with My partner I have two daughters ,one lives in Canada and my other daughter is away at uni in Canterbury. I enjoy my work and get great pleasure watching children having fun playing,growing and attending to their individual needs . I enjoy being out with the children visiting local parks, woods, farms, the library and more. My house is well equipped with art and craft activities, toys and games for all ages and I also have lots of outdoor play with a large wood cabin in my garden, its sole purpose being for children to play in. I drive a 7 seater BMW and have all the necessary car seats. I can provide breakfast, cooked lunch, tea and snacks at no extra cost.
I provide a warm welcoming and friendly home from home environment and children in my setting become part of an extended family. I follow the E YFS learning goals . I am accredited to receive nursery vouchers .Children enjoy very social meal times as they eat around a table together allowing them to interact and chat with each other .
I have a full set of policies ,risk assessments and numerous positive references from parents .
My Experience
I have Thirty years experence as a mother and twenty years expereince as a childminder.
I have volunteered and helped with the guides ,play school and on the walking bus to Westleigh school .
I am a member of the PACEY
I am accredited childminder ,so i can except nursery vouchers .
i am a network childminder and part of ther marvelous minders team

My opening times are from 8:00am until 17: 00pm .with some flexability .

Julie has looked after my first son since he was 10 months old, he is now about to start school and I am so sad that he will only see Julie in the school holidays. My youngest son has been with Julie for nearly a year and goes very happily to Julie each morning. Julie is a fantastic childminder and my children love her. She is flexible and caring and does what ever she is able to do to help our family out. Julie' s home is a loving and happy house. Julie is very active and the children are always out and about, going to play groups, the park, the library, beach and woods. Julie provides very stimulating childcare and spends so much time talking to my boys and teaching them new things.
