About Me
Hello,
I'm an OFSTED registered childminder since 2009 and a member of the the Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years - PACEY. I hold an enhanced DBS as do my husband and adult daughters, who all currently live with me.
I have been consistently graded GOOD by OFSTED in my last 3 inspections, my reports are available to view online but more importantly my families have always been very happy with me as their chosen childminder, please see my reviews below.
I'm a mother to 3 daughters, who are often at work but do enjoy enjoy spending time with my minded children when they're at home and as such your child will enjoy being a part of a caring, safe and loving family environment which I'd like to become their "home away from home".
I really enjoy caring for and nurturing children, I find it very rewarding to help them learn and grow. I'm not afraid of messy play, crafts or glitter so it will feature on your child's creations throughout the year! We also go to playgroups and parks regularly, other places we've visited are the Ruislip Lido, London Wetland Centre, soft play, libraries, farms, and we also go on outings with fellow childminders.
I work from my playroom and conservatory so the children have plenty of space and lots of resources to choose from including many books, treasure baskets, role play, musical instruments, construction, dolls, jigsaws etc.
Our garden is safe and enclosed and in the Spring and Summer months we have lots of planting and digging as well as the usual garden fun which is always enjoyed. I also regularly take the children for walks around my local area, I live close to the Grand Union Canal so we can stop and watch the canal boats on the marina as well as the different birds and nests we see, there’s usually a pair of swans, as well as coots, ducks and geese, all great talking points. There’s also several play areas which make a good last stop before going back home.
I am Local Authority Accredited and am available to provide funded education places for 2, 3 & 4 yr olds - as well as the upcoming 9 month+ childcare support funding.
I live on the borders of Hillingdon/Ealing, on the E6 bus route, which stops on Broadmead Rd or a few minutes drive from either the White Hart Roundabout or Yeading Tesco.
I work Mondays to Thursdays all year round excluding my holidays which I give advance notice of.

My Experience
I've been childminding as a profession since 2009 but I've experience caring for children for over 25 years as a mother and longer as a loving auntie to my nieces and nephews. I have previously minded children from 5 months onwards but am happy to accept younger babies if needed.
My Qualifications
I like to keep up with training, both compulsory & voluntary, so I can continue to offer high quality childcare.
My qualifications are:
Introduction to Childminding Practice,
CACHE level 3 in Home Based Childcare,
Paediatric First Aid, updated regularly,
Safeguarding (child protection), updated regularly.

My Availability
Mondays to Thursdays, 8am - 5pm, year round, minimum 7 hours a day.
I have upcoming vacancies available for a SEPTEMBER 2024 start as children will be moving on to school. I’m happy to take on part or full time children depending on requirements and availability, I will be offering the 15/30 hours funding for eligible children.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
I charge hourly and require a minimum of 7 hours per day.

My son started at Zahida’s at around 10 months and is now 2 years and 3 months. I can’t thank Zahida enough for the love and care she has given him, although being a lockdown baby he took his time to settle, Zahida was very patient and my son has since always been settled and happy.
I am very happy with the care my son receives.
The activities always seem to be fun and educational which is great. My fridge is covered in paintings, handprints, glitter etc! He gets outside everyday for fresh air, often to various parks and enjoys regular trips to the children’s centre, playgroup and library. I think my sons development has a lot to do with Zahida’s hard work and commitment.
Zahida is very professional and is always up to date with regulatory requirements, she has always been very helpful, approachable and answered all my questions. She also keeps a daily diary of what my son gets up to and has always kept me well informed of the activities that he has undertaken each day and have kept clear records of food / drink intake and nappy changes.
I am extremely happy with the care my son gets. Highly recommended!

Zahida initially looked after our eldest boy back in 2014. In early 2020 we received amazing news.
We was expecting twin boys, our twins were to be born in August 2020 and wife knew exactly who they were going to after her maternity ended.
She kept in contact with Zahida all those years because she appreciated how amazing Zahida was with our eldest boy.
Our twins started with Zahida when they were 7 months boys old. Zahida has been god sent for both them and us ever since.
They are 19 months now and when we tell them in the morning that they’re going to Zahida’s house they run for their trainers and jump up down with excitement.
Zahida is extremely professional and passionate about being a childminder.
Zahida is an excellent communicator, she has a WhatsApp group for our twins and she shares pictures and stories of their day so we’re really involved and well informed of what they get up to.
The boys have been going to Zahida for a year and they are excelling in all the key skills and we credit Zahida for teaching and encouraging them to learn and develop. They often come home and show off the newest skill they have learnt with Zahida.
We trust Zahida with the most precious little humans in the world to us and we never had a single issue with her. Zahida always makes us feel happy and reassured about the time our twins spend with her.
Zahida is amazing and we couldn’t be more happier and appreciative of everything she has done for our twins.
We address her as auntie Zahida with our twins because we consider her family and a friend.
Thank you so much for all you have done for us in the past year and hopefully for many more to come.

Zahida is an excellent childminder. She is very professional and experienced. My daughter was comfortable with her and her setting from the beginning and liked going. The children feel at home with her. She does lots of activities with the children both at home and outside which is really good for their development and social skills.She communicates the child's progress very well and provides guidance, help or advice if required with development or any issues. I would definitely recommend her.

Zahida started looking after our eldest daughter (Amber) after school as we were looking for a caring childminder with experience of children with additional needs; we found this and more with Zahida. From the moment I visited her home I knew our daughter would be safe, happy and settled with her; and when we had baby number 2 and it was time for me to go back to work we had no hesitation in placing our 10 month old daughter (Skye) with her full-time.
Zahida goes above and beyond in her responsibilities as a childminder. She provides a range of simulating activities throughout the day, as well as day trips and playgroups. She is extremely knowledgeable about early years and child development and has helped, supported and worked with us on sleep, speech, toileting and preparation/transition to nursery.
Her home environment is clean and safe; with a lovely outdoor space which both girls have enjoyed.
With Zahida you really do get a home from home environment which is exactly what we were looking for for our children; and both Amber and Skye (especially) have developed a close bond with Zahida and her family. We have always felt confident that both our daughters are being cared for and well looked after.
I have already recommended Zahida as childminder to ANYONE I now looking for a childminder in Northolt because I thinks fab!!

Zahida has been childminding our son for over a year now and we couldn't be more pleased with our experience. Our son genuinely enjoys his sessions with her and everytime I pick him up and ask him how his day was, he says 'Mummy, I had so much fun!'
She takes a genuine interest in him and his interests. Her home is inviting and clean and organised and I love the variety of things that she has for the children to play with/ learn from. If there's a local activity she thinks my son would enjoy attending or a printable or website she thinks I might benefit from as a parent, she will tell me about it and that says a lot. She really does go above and beyond and her own children are wonderful - my son loves her daughters and will often talk about them or point them out to me if he sees them around our vicinity.
We are really looking forward to having our daughter go to her too when she is old enough. If you like us, are apprehensive or worried about leaving your child in someone else's care, Zahida is someone you will never have an unsettled or worried feeling about. We are very lucky to have her!

In my opinion, Zahida is well qualified and experienced to accept the challenge of child-minding. I have had the utmost confidence in her judgement, professionalism and maturity, and have always felt comfortable leaving my daughter in her care.
Some of the many qualities about Zahida are that she is highly organized, efficient, has an excellent rapport with the children under her care and provides a vibrant, well lit, clean safe environment. I also appreciate that Zahida takes time to engage the children in a variety of activities such as short outings, to the park, playgroups, library, etc., which I feel adds value to a child’s development.
As a first time parent this was all new to me, but Zahida was more than happy to induct me into this new world of children, which made my experience even better. I believe Zahida is a capable child-minder, a dedicated professional and I recommend her to you without reservation. I am confident that she is able to establish productive relationships with your family.

Zahida005 has been an outstanding childminder for my daughter for 2 years and counting and the service, standard and settings are one of THE BEST I have ever seen ( I know because I trawled several different settings!).
Zahida has introduced my daughter to a range of adventurous activities , day trips and a variety of indoor play and learning.
My child's speech , confidence and overall wellbeing was noticeable.
I'm very proud to have found Zahida, a passionate childminder who adores the children in her care and is very communicative with the parents.
My lovely child has so much fun at Zahida's and now she's at a talking stage she sings Zahida's praises louder than I do!
If you only want the best for your child/children then I urge you to look no further. The BEST in the West is right here, a lovely lady also known as Zahida!

I would highly recommend Zahida005 as your choice of childminder. She has looked after my son since 2012 and I have been 100% satisfied with her services.
I chose Zahida from all of the childminders on this site, because when we visited her, my son instantly felt comfortable around her and in her home. She has a beautiful new-build house with a garden with a huge playroom full of toys. The place is spotless and the area that Zahida lives in is quiet and safe.
Zahida is very professional, but has also made my son feel like part of the family, and her own child has become a close friend of my sons.
You will not be disappointed if you choose Zahida as your childminder.
