Hi my name is Jo and have been an Ofsted registered childminder for over 14 years . I have three children who are G20, B19 and B17 years old
My daughter is working for the civil service, One son is at College and one son working
My main aim is to offer a home from home environment, with the children being happy, confident and learning, Going back to work and leaving your children in childcare is very daunting and being a Mum myself ,I hope you can be reassured that the children are happy and enjoy their day.
We love being outdoors, I have a very large back garden with lots of outdoor activities and toys , we also have a vegetable plot where we grow pumpkins, carrots, potatoes etc and flowers, which everyone gets involved with and loves, especially when they get to take some home.
We also visit local parks and the lakes and in the holidays can go further afield to a national trust Park or farm.
I follow the Early Years foundation framework so lots of learning activities whilst they are enjoying and having fun, we like to do crafts, painting, sticking, colouring. also cooking, Playdoh, messy play the list is endless .
We enjoy learning about our families , traditions and celebrations
During the week we can visit, local playgroups, soft play and music classes we also meet with other childminders so the children have a lovely mix of friends
I keep all parents informed of the children's day and progress with a daily diary and regular photographs on whats app
I can provide breakfast, lunch, snacks and a hot evening meal as required.

Jo has been absolutely amazing, I know and trust that my younger daughter is in the best care possible. She gives the children so much attention, love and creates such a happy, stimulating environment allowing little personalities to grow. Jo will always go above and beyond to create many different interesting activities from arts and crafts, baking, outdoor activities, playgroups to even creating a crown for the king š.

My daughter has been with Jo since she was 11 months old and I was a classic nervous new mum going back to work.
As soon as I went round it felt right, a lovely family setting and daughter settled in very quickly and has never looked back. Jo has been doing this for years and it shows, I have seen a couple of babies settle straight in since we started.
It is lovely to know she is safe when I am working and Jo has been really supportive and flexible when I have needed it. She also put up with quite a complicated medication regimen when my daughter first started (as she had some health issues,) and has mass special vegetarian food for her without batting an eyelid.
Iād recommend Jo to anyone, she is amazing.
