NEW VACANCIES AVAILABLE FROM SEPTEMBER. Hello everyone! My name is Melina. I am an OFSTED registered accredited child minder with recent rating GOOD and OUTSTANDING from OFSTED, Quality Mark certificate, and I am proud of having lots of EXCELLENT and VERY GOOD references from parents. I can offer the 15 and 30 hours Nursery Funding and all kind of vouchers and child tax credit, It means Parents can use of Government Funding to pay the fee for all ages when I am looking after them.
I have many years of experience caring for children of all ages as teachers, head teachers, and 15 years as a child-minder. I am a reliable and hard-working person who loves looking after children. I live with my husband and 19 years old son who studies in uni, in a nice and clean house include a new huge play room with lots of different range of toys , children changing room and bathroom and a massive garden which they are prepared completely safe and secure for children with suitable facilities for all ages to learn and achieve to their full potential and following EYFS Standards . In lockdown, we raised cheeks, my minded children loved them, and now we have fish in our tank. There is no smoker in my home. I work with assistants who have DBS(CRB) check. safeguarding and a First Aid certificate when the ratio is met.
My Experience
I worked 2 years in Creative Kids Nursery in Main Road before I started my job as a child minder. I am a mother of 19 years old son who is a clever boy studying in university, while I am looking after other children as a childminder. having experience as teacher for years gave me a very good knowledge and experience to help children have a quality time of their life while they are with me. I attend local parks and libraries and meet up with other childminders on a regular basis, mostly in summertime.. I also have access to the local community areas.
I can drop and pick up from local nurseries and schools.
Children's development will be monitored all the time, and parents have daily reports for under 3years old children and formal reports 2 times a year for under 5 years old.
Children can have a nutrition meal of breakfast, two snacks, and lunch every day, and I can provide all the facilities for young children from nappy to milk if their parents wish or just they can bring theirs! Children can have free settling sessions as many as the parents and us make sure they are ready for separation from their family or other settings.
My Qualifications
I am a qualified, OFSTED OUTSTANDING and GOOD child minder with quality mark, diploma and NVQ level 2 & 3 in children care, learning and development, upgrade degree master in educational management, bachelor in teaching language, level 2 in literacy and numeracy, ICT skills of computer working and ESOL, also I hold a Pediatric First Aide, food hygiene and safe guarding certificates plus lots of useful certificates related to childcare. I am working with Liability Insurance, and my husband, son, assistant, and I hold clear DBS checks. I work with assistants according to the ratios.
My Availability
I can look after children of all ages from 7 :00 am to 7.00 pm Monday to Saturday according to my policy part-time or full-time, school days, school holidays and emergency times.

My Fees

Please send me a message or call me to get information about the fee which is going to be competitive and fair. fees are charged for a maximum of 10 hours a day for £55. for more than 10 hours, will be £8:00 an hour for any extra hour.

Melina has been looking after my daughter for the past two years or so and she has been just wonderful. My daughter loves going to ‘aunty’ (as she calls her ) because she feels safe and happy with her.
She’s truly dedicated to her children and their wellbeing is her priority.
My daughter speech and overall development has improved immensely. She become more independent and knowledgeable. I’m certain she is more than ready to start her reception year in September.
I truly recommend Melina and her childcare setting to any parent who needs a little extra help with their child care.

Melina has looked after our eldest daughter for 3.5 years and our youngest since she was 6 months old. I could not recommend Melina and her assistant enough to anyone needing childcare. Our children have flourished in this setting academically, physically and socially, however, what we love the most about sending our daughters here is how much they love Melina and how well she cares for them. They look forward to attending every morning and are always excited to tell us about the wonderful activities they do every day. The girls know her as family and we are so incredibly grateful for the love and support our children have received in the years they’ve spent here.

Melina has looked after my boy (2 and a half) for over a year now. He absolutely adores her and she treats him like one of her own. I receive regular feedback and progress reports and I am updated with pictures and notes daily. Melina works so well with us as a family and helped through potty training. My son really enjoys his time here and is progressing really well. We are so lucky to have you!

I can`t praise Melina and her team enough. She is professional, kind and caring - not to mention very experienced. I`m amazed how well my 16 months old daughter is developing in her care. She made the settling in process easy, my daughter loves going to `auntie` since week 2. I love that I can have a piece of mind that my baby is well cared for, she is in a clean, safe environment. She always leaves with a big smile on her face and that`s the most important thing!

Melina looks after my 3 year old boy. He wasn't potty trained and his speech and vocabulary weren't great as he was looked after by nanny for the past 3 years. Melina has helped developed his speech and vocabulary. He also knows numbers and nursery rhymes after few months with her. Melina teaches him discipline and routines as well, she regularly communicates with us regarding his development and improvement. Although she has children in the house, it seems that you receive individualised one to one care as she knows each child by heart.
I would highly recommend Melina as your childminder!

I have been using Melina for just over 7 years, my 7 year old son joined Melina at 8 months old, he was born 2 months premature and I was extremely worried about leaving him and returning to work. Melina put me at ease and my son settled in immediately. I could go to work and not have to worry at all. My son has been going to Melina's full time and when he started nursery and school she now does my school drop off/pick ups and knows most of the parents and teachers at St. URSULAS Infant & Junior school. My son is so happy when he is there, he enjoys and loves being at Melina's. She is amazing with teaching the early years curriculum and sets out topics throughout the year. My son is confident and very social and I believe thats all down to Melina.
I now have a 2 year old, and he also attends Melina's full time, since 8 months old.
She is very clean and disinfects her setting regularly.
I would not hesitate to recommend her, she has become part of my family and she is in one word AMAZING! (all the children love her) I would be lost without her.

Melina has been looking after my two boys (2 +3) for a year now and we truly couldn't be happier with her service. It's the perfect combination of a home from home service with all the structure and learning benefits of a nursery. From potty training to teaching the Phonics Melina has really done it all

Your boys are lovely and I am proud to look after them.
Melina offers great care, lessons and playtime to my kids (5) & (3).
She communicates on time, keeping me up to date with all developments when necessary. I always get photos as well which is great as I love knowing what the kids are up to during their day (and these photos will be great memories for when they grow up :) ). She is flexible and greatly accomodates my needs.

I have been lucky to look after your boys.
Melina took on my daughter during lockdown at short notice as my normal childminder could not continue. My daughter who is 1, settled quickly with Melina and is really happy there. Melina is very loving and warm and my daughter happily does drop off. Melina does lots of activities and keeps me updated with photos. Her home is spotless and she has a great range of toys and a large garden for both inside and outside play. We will miss her!

Melina has looked after my son Jacob for almost 3 years. She is absolutely amazing. She takes great care of the children, teaching them so many skills, games, songs, dances etc. Jacob displayed a confidence he had not had before within days of being with Melina. All the kids love her and affectionately call her Aunty. The children are fed a balanced diet and even my son, previously a vegetable hater, absolutely loves them. Melina is willing to adust her availability to meet parents needs and has come through when I need emergency child care. She is worth more than gold.
