Am amazing nanny who has become part of our family

Heidi has been working for us since September 2016, looking after our two boys. She is absolutely fantastic, I would have loved to keep her on but with my littlest going to school we can no longer offer enough hours. She has been with us for a long time and genuinely feels like part of the family and she is properly invested in the upbringing of my children, and wants the best for them.

Most importantly, Heidi is brilliant with the boys. She plans each day really well with a mix of activities, making sure there is lots of outside time, as well as interacting with other children and lots of quiet time things like reading, puzzles and craft. She is super creative and the boys have enjoyed making special crafty presents for our birthdays, christmas and mothers/fathers day with her. She also takes them on loads of special trips to local parks, national trust, soft play, etc - she has loads of local knowledge and is well linked in with other nanny's and playgroups to go to.

She is really patient and has a great manner with the children, she is able to get them to calm down after a tantrum and she is also happy to follow any discipline guidance we give her to make sure there is consistency between parents and nanny. She applies the same discipline approach to her own son when he is around, so there is never any different treatment of the children in her care. She takes a genuine interest in the development of my children, and will celebrate successes and provide praise and help and encouragement.

For me, Heidi is also a great help as she does extra things around the house, the boys laundry, batch cooking, she cleans up throughout the day and before she leaves. She's happy to get involved in extra projects like preparing for birthday parties, and she does babysitting as well. As my husband and I both work in London, our life is quite hectic and Heidi knows us well enough now to just get on with things and sort out stuff that we may have forgotten, like school admin or meal planning!

I cant recommend Heidi highly enough, she has been a lifesaver for us and we will all really miss her. I hope she gets an amazing new family to work with - I am happy to have a chat with anyone considering Heidi for their own family.

Super Nanny!

Heidi has been working with us for 12 months and we feel very fortunate to have had her as part of our family - she has been fantastic at fitting in with our busy and changeable schedules. I’ve really valued her flexible approach, nothing ever seems to faze her, and she’s been accommodating with extra hours, when required. She’s been really reliable, stepping in to help us out when in tight spots and I can honestly say she has never let us down. She plans great activity for our boys - trips to the park (and further afield in school holidays), baking, craft, library / museum and most importantly my boys love spending time with her and her little boy.

I would highly recommend Heidi - she's a very capable Nanny, with solid childcare experience which is evident upon first meeting. She is very patient with my boys and has adapted to some of our specific requirements around upbringing. She also has actively encouraged the boys to be independent, joining in with chores and sharing toys / games. I am more than happy to provide a further reference if anyone would like to get in touch.
