I am a very happy, bubbly, confident person and absolutely love my job, I enjoy reading, movies and my family days out. I enjoy trying new things and am always on the look out for new ideas for my setting. I am very creative and would much rather make something than buy it if I can! I enjoy getting messy with the kids during our art activities and in the garden. The children I care for are not just a job to me but part of my family xo
My Experience
I have worked in a range of nursery’s in my career and with different ages from baby’s up to Pre-Sch children and have found much enjoyment in them all, the best job I’ve ever had is being a childminder. Since 2012 I’ve had the pleasure of caring for many children in my setting, we do normal things like arts and crafts or playing in the garden as you would within a nursery but the best bit is going out and about, we’ve been to farms, parks, on boats, buses, cafes, beaches, picnics and more that you’d never get with a nursery! I love my mindie children and they make my job amazing!
My Qualifications
I am level 3 qualified, i have my Childminding certificate, st johns ambulance-first aid trained, Food hygiene and a child protection certificate.
My Availability
Spaces Monday - Friday 7.30am-4.30pm although arrangement's can be made if extra hrs are needed.
30hrs funding excepted.

Emily looked after our little boy from 9 months to 3 years when he started preschool.
My son simply loved going to hers, he left us happy in the morning often just walking in when he got there and not looking back.
He developed wonderfully under her care and we felt incredibly lucky to have found her.
She regularly took him out and socialised the children with other children which helped when he progressed to preschool.
Her communication was ideal, quick and we really valued all the little photos and updates- lots more than nurseries have time to do.
Highly highly recommended and we feel incredibly lucky and grateful we will be able to use her again in the near future! Xxx

Emily cared for my child for nearly two years, and from the very start, she made us feel like part of her family. Every morning, she welcomed my child with open arms, creating a warm and loving environment that quickly became a second home.
One of the things I appreciated most was Emily’s excellent communication. She kept us updated throughout the day with messages and photos, giving us peace of mind and allowing us to share in our child’s experiences. She also made sure the children got plenty of fresh air and adventure, taking them on trips out as often as possible.
Emily is simply the best—kind, nurturing, and dedicated to the children in her care. I couldn’t have asked for a better childminder, and I wholeheartedly recommend her to any parent looking for someone trustworthy and caring.

After my daughter didn't settle in a nursery setting, I reached out to Emily who started to look after her from when she was about 18 months old. It's was the best choice for my girl and she has come on so well since. It was lovely seeing her rush into Emily's house each day without looking back and then hearing about all of the fun things she did throughout the day. Emily offers a lovely home from home environment and couldn't be more helpful if she tried. Thank you, lovely XX

Emily has been taking care of my son since he was 8 weeks old, she took him in as one of her family and he absolutely loves EVERYTHING about going to Emily's house.
Emily goes above and beyond what you'd expect to make every day an adventure. He has learnt so much over the last 3 years and that's mostly down to Emily.
She's a superwoman, I have no idea how she does it sometimes!
If you're looking for a childminder, look no further- I guarantee you won't be disappointed 💕

Emily has been minding my daughter since she was 11 months old and I can honestly say we struck gold when we found her! Emily is kind caring and just a lovely person! Not only has she been part of our family for the last 6 months but Poppy has been
made to feel part of Emily’s family. Unfortunately for us we are moving away and can’t take Emily with us(we did ask) and it’s making our move way harder! Poppy has developed so much since starting and she absolutely adores Emily and her family. We are devastated to be leaving Emily as she is just the best person to have looking after your precious little bundles when you are at work. Thank you Emily for being so amazing! We ❤️ you xxx

Emily has been my daughters childminder since she was 1 till she starts school.
She has become like a second mum and also a great person to offer childcare advice when it’s been required.
My daughter loves Emily and her boys, always excited to go in the mornings and often never wanting to leave, so much that I have increased hours so that my daughter can spend evening meal times with the boys!!
Emily attends local playgroups and has a great relationships with the other childminders so that all children get to spend time with a wide range of other children (not just Emily’s mindees). She is always out and about whatever the weather, nature walks etc are a big favourite with my daughter!
Being an only child I feel this has been the best start for my daughter, experiencing the school runs and being able to interact with not just pre school but also school aged children.
I’ll miss Emily and the boys but can thoroughly recommend her!

Emily looked after my son from when he was 1 until starting school. She is a warm, bubbly, caring person and a brilliant childminder.
I was looking for a childminder who provides a home from home experience and we were so lucky to find this with Emily (and more!!). I think it says a huge amount that In nearly 4 years there has never been a day when our son has not wanted to go to Emily's house in the morning and he is happy every time we pick him up!
I love the fact that in addition to the great things they do at home, Emily takes the children out and about all the time. They get lots of real life experiences that they just wouldn't get in a nursery.
We feel incredibly lucky that our son has been a part of Emily's childminding family. She has helped massively to give him a secure and happy start in life. We couldn't have asked for more and I would absolutely recommend her to any family.

Emily has been looking after my 2 children for over 2 years (my youngest daughter was 9 months and my elder daughter was 2).
They immediately loved going to Emily as she is so warm, bubbly and loving towards the children.
I’ve always been amazed at how quickly they learn new things with Emily and also the good habits they learn which are common place at Emily’s eg. Hand washing, tidying up, healthy eating, politeness and respecting nature etc.
I can honestly say my childrens’ good nature and politeness is in part down to Emily’s care of them during the week.
Her own children also are very welcoming to the mindees and they all play and interact nicely.
I love hearing about the activities that they get up to during the week and the kids have so much fun. My children were very shy when they first started to go to Emily’s and I was worried that my elder daughter was very nervous after a previous experience at another childminders, and I was so pleased to see the different reaction from the children almost immediately.
Emily works well with me as a parent to keep me informed of what the children get up to daily, funny things they say/do and also where their development needs are and what we should be working together to improve.
Finally, she has done a fantastic job to prepare my eldest for school by really encouraging independence and encouraging her to start to do things for herself over a gradual period of time.

Emily had my son from 8mths old, when I went back to work, until him starting school, and she’s been like a second mum to him, he loves her to bits. Emily has been incredible in helping care for my son, from feeding and dressing himself to teaching him his numbers and alphabet, she doesn’t miss anything and is very observant to his well-being. Id recommend Emily to any parent looking for a childminder, she’s fantastic.
