Hi, my name is Sarah and I married my husband, Antony, in June 2005. Our first son, Nathan, was born in June 2009. Our second son, Aidan, was born in January 2014. We love pets and have chickens, 2 crested geckos and a tropical fish tank.
After 10 years in Retail Banking I fulfilled a new ambition of mine to work with children and became a Registered Childminder in September 2011. I enjoying being with and caring for children and although I have no previous professional experience, I have spent a lot of time since my son was born attending parent craft classes and baby groups to give me the skills I needed to aid my sons development. It is so rewarding to see the excitement on a child's face when they learn something new or achieve something for the very first time.
My Experience
Primarily I am a mum and so this provides me with continuous challenges and experiences. I aim to keep a balance of indoor and outdoor activities and ensure that we attend a variety of toddler groups to ensure the children I care for are provided with a variety of experiences.
I take advantage of any professional development training available of an evening or weekend to ensure that my knowledge is kept up to date.
My Qualifications
Myself and my husband have been CRB checked and are both qualified in Paediatric First Aid.
I have passed CACHE level 3 in Understanding how to set up a home based childcare service.
I am also registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under the Data Protection Act 1998.
My Availability
My services are normally available Tuesday (8am-5pm), Wednesday (8am-2.30pm), Thursday (8am-5pm) and Friday (8am-2.30pm). I have no current vacancies.

I can't recommend Sarah & Antony highly enough! Choosing childcare for small children is really difficult, but they do so many lovely activities every day and they adore the children in their care. My son started with Little Wrens when he was 2 & sadly has to leave now to go to "big school".
Little Wrens have helped shape his early years & will always be truly special people to us.
