About Me

Hi, I'm Charlotte Efficient and highly motivated, I am an individual with a natural responsible and caring attitude. I am qualified to level 3 in childcare and have a solid background in the field, which has only furthered my knowledge and developed my skillset. Over the last thirteen years I have come to possess valuable experience through my working with children as a nursery nurse and a nanny, ranging from new born twins– teenagers of 16 years old.

Through continuous study and becoming a mother myself, I am keen to keep up to date with any developments in early years care and education as well as liaising with educators and specialists in their fields.

My last role was as a nanny for four years, in this time taking care of five children. I was responsible for their daily routine, travel, food preparation, household chores, extra curricular activities and any additional tasks, which arose. One of the children in my care was diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD); he required specialist care, a strong structure and various stimuli, which provoked his engagement. I not only built a strong bond with him, I was able to take care of his siblings simultaneously as well as meeting his needs.

Prior to this role, I was working in an early years environment as a nursery nurse at Oak Tree kindergarten. I enjoyed this role as it allowed me to develop my experience in a structured setting. I took part in routine inspections, yearly training courses and staff training opportunities. I felt that this role gave me the skillset and confidence to branch out and work as a private nanny. I was able to showcase my first aid knowledge after training and my knowledge of babies development from an early age.



My career so far has allowed me to not note only watch and wonder as the children in my care have grown, influence the strong and well rounded young people that they have become as well as form life long bonds with the families. I also had the opportunity to accompany one family on their holiday to South Africa, which is an experience that will stay with me forever.
I am currently on maternity leave and would be looking for work around September time. I'm interested in school drop off and pickups in my local area
