About Me
I'm offering predominantly an English tuition service at Early Years and Primary School level. I've worked as a Montessori teacher for several years with children between the ages of three and 11. I'm a flexible, patient and amiable person, being able to adapt to differing individual needs. I first gained experience of home tuition during a teaching job in Italy, when I taught English at a Primary School and also offered home tuition after school.
I have tutored children here in Oadby for the last 12 years and travel to their homes for tuition. I utilise the Montessori materials and method (which is a child-led approach) with young children whenever possible. I use appropriate workbooks with older children.
I have also gained experience more recently (over the last 18 months) as a learning support assistant, working with children with additional needs. I undertook several short training courses needed for the post. These ranged from understanding Autism and ADHD, to assisting children with Dyslexia.
My Experience
Over 25 years of experience working with children and teaching using the Montessori method. I also have experience of teaching English as a foreign language to both children and adults. SEN experience with all age groups.

Anita has been working with my children during the last year and a half.
She is absolutely fantastic with my children, trustable, full of resources, experienced, extremely kind and patient.
My children have learnt a lot with her, so I strongly recommend her for any tutoring or childcare position.
