About Me
I am an enthusiastic individual, competent and able learn quickly. I am sociable, well-prepared and as equally capable of working independently as within a group environment. I have recently completed my Masters in Legal History and Philosophy. I am currently studying for my TEFL Masters provided by Global TEFL UK, and my PhD in Law. I am a keen runner and swimmer, completing the Dublin Marathon in October, and enter my first Triathlon in 2013.
My Experience
I have experience both as a student and teacher, specifically of students learning English as a second language. I have worked both with international students within the UK, and with students in ther home country of South Korea.
I have worked as a live-in house mistress acting as both tutor and loco parentis to around 50 girls aged between 10 and 18. This post also entailed the running of a large gardened property, ensuring both efficiency and safety was paramount.
I have also worked with older undergraduate students at the University of Edinburgh as a mentor and LawPAL roles which were dedicated at the smooth educational and social transition between school and University.
