About Me
Hi, my name is Joanna and I am an ofsted registered childminder. I live with my husband and our 2 boys who are 13 years old and 8 yrs old. I offer a warm, loving, fun environment where I want everyone to feel at home.
I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage so I ensure the activities I provide help the children to learn and develop through play.
I enjoy to take the children out and about to local places such as parks, playgroups, libraries and softplay areas.
Parents can leave their children with me knowing their child will be safe, happy and well looked after.
My Experience
I am a qualified Nursery Nurse, so I have worked in many nurseries with all age groups.
I am a mum to my 2 lovely boys,so have plenty of experience working with and caring for babies and toddlers.
I have been childminding for over 12 years now and cared for lots of children of all ages.
My Qualifications
CYPOP5 - Introduction to home-based childcare
NNEB - Diploma in Nursery Nursing
Paediatric First Aid trained.
Ofsted registered - graded - GOOD
Child Protection - level 1
My Availability
I am available Monday-Friday 7.30 - 5.00
I offer full and part-time sessions and I can be flexible to suit so please just ask me!
I currently have a space available for- 0-5 yr old on a Wednesday and Friday.
I currently do a school run to WILLIAM LAW school in Werrington with my son so I am looking for anyone who requires this school pick up, mornings drop off too.

Jo has had my little girl since being four months old she has been a second mum, caring and nurturing her into the little diva she is today. Jo has an incredible bond with her and my daughter loves her sons like brothers. Jo takes my little girl out and constantly keeps me updated on her progress. Honestly returning to work was effortless because I knew how safe and settled she was. Even now she runs in and doesn’t look back! I dread the day she leaves for school! Thankyou Jo for being one in a million! One incredible childminder and one I would a million percent recommend.

This is the first time I've had to put my any of my children in childcare and when you add to that a very shy wee boy who has a bit of separation anxiety, it was a stressful time for us both. Jo was patient, she explained everything and took the settling in at our pace. She reassured me he was getting on fine with photos and texts in the early weeks and months which reassured me massively. I now have a very happy and confident little boy. He's thrived in her care and looks forward to going there everyday. I can talk to Jo about any concerns I have and it is very much like a home from home. Would highly recommend her.

Jo currently looks after my 1 year old boy who loves being in her care. Understandably I was very nervouse and anxious at the prospect of leaving my Pride and Joy in someone elses care but as soon as I read Jo's profile I knew I had to meet her.
Jo is lovely, a very warm and caring person who I know takes very good care of my little one while I cant. The first few weeks were the hardest but i got regular text updates and a detailed update of how his day had gone. It only took 4 weeks for Alfie to settle with Jo and baring in mind he was only doing 2 days he settled very quickly.
Jo does many activities with him from paly dough and aqua draw to garden activities and walks to the park.
I can't detail enough how natural she is and what a loving fun environment she provides. I highly recomend her as a childminder and would be happy to speak or meet with anyone wanting to leave there pride and joy in her care.
