About Me
I have worked in childcare for 30 years and until recently have been working as an ofsted registered childminder in our family home.
I am now taking on ad hoc days (as a nanny) to bring help when it is needed the most.
Is your regular nanny/childminder ill or on holiday and unable to care for your child/ren?
Is your child under the weather and needs to be in his or her home environment rather than at nursery?
Do you have a day out planned or an appointment you cannot take your little one to?
If so I can help..... I will use my vast experience to put your children at ease. I will play games with them, read to them, take them out to the park or a playgroup (if suitable), follow your routine and ‘hold the fort’.
I have many excellent references, an enhanced DBS, first aid training and many other childcare professional qualifications.
I can make myself available at short notice or be booked in advance.
Above all, I will look after your little one with the greatest of care, attention and love.
My Experience
I have over 25 years experience in professional childcare, excellent references and all relevant qualifications (incl. DBS & First Aid). This is in addition to my role as Mum to a 23 year old girl, 12 year old boy and girls aged 8 and 6
My Qualifications
I am NNEB trained as well as completing the ICP when registering as a childminder.
I attend regular ongoing training.

We could not have asked for a better childminder than Louise. The first time we met Louise, we knew instantly we wanted her to look after our son. She has welcomed our son into her amazing family and treats him like one of her own. Louise has a very calm, caring and loving nature and she has created a nurturing home environment that the children feel at home at. Louise is always taking the children out on exciting day trips and plans lots of fun activities at home. Louise has developed our sons confidence and independence and we have seen a huge amount of progress in all areas of his development. Louise sends us lots of messages and photos of what they have been doing in the day, which is so lovely to receive. Louise provides the children with healthy meals and snacks and our son always much prefers her cooking to ours! I was anxious about leaving our son after being on maternity leave for a year with him, but Louise made this transition seamless and from the very start we knew he was with the right person to look after him. We cannot thank Louise enough for everything she has done this year, she is a truly amazing woman!
The only reason we are leaving Louise is because our family is relocating, we are extremely sad to be loosing her and wish we could take her with us! We would definitely use her again if our circumstances changed.
