About Me
My name is Bev I am a registered childminder and my husband is my childminders assistant/cover or responsible adult. We have 2 children a daughter 30 and son 25 yrs.
We have a beautiful out home and our lounge is set up like a children centre room daily, with a garden well equipped with outdoor toys/activities. There is a lot more I can tell you so why not send me a message so that we can arrange to meet.
My Experience
FREE PLACES !!! PLEASE READ ON!!!
I have been a registered childminder for 18 years. Previously both my Ofsted Reports have been good. My last Ofsted report I was graded 'OUTSTANDING' 2/10/2013. I have a wide range of experience working with children and lone parents, and have a very close liaison with health visitors, child welfare, child protection. I am a full member of the Enfield Childminding Network, which means that I am working towards the NCMA on going support/monitoring visits and I attend regular training sessions and I am a member of the Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years (PACEY)
ARE YOU ELIGIBLE FOR A FREE PLACE
WITH A CHILDCARE PROVIDER IN ENFIELD 15 or 30 HRS PER WEEK.
From September 2024 the Government is expanding the number of free early learning places, you may be eligible for a free place for your 9 month old, as well as two year olds and 3-4 year olds in the term following their birthday. The free places will usually be offered through all Children Centres daycare, as well as many private nurseries, pre-school play groups and some childminders for up to 15 hours a week.
The places are not a universal offer and parents will have to satisfy the eligibility criteria in order for their child to be eligible for a place. If you are interested give me a call for more details.
My Qualifications
I hold a First Aid Certificate for the past 15 years. I have a NVQ3 in Childcare Learning and Development.
I have attended the Advanced Child Protection Course.
Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering.

Please contact for details of fees. All meals, fresh fruit, drink and milk for children 12 months plus included in fees.
Children under 12 months free milk regardless of brand provided.

Where to start with Bev... Words can't adequately describe how brilliant she has been with our son.
From the moment we met Bev, we felt totally comfortable leaving our son with her. There has never been a doubt in my mind that he is treated as a member of her family, and not just as another child, or a job. She emanates love and warmth to both parents and children, and has a calm, confident and reassuring presence that made us feel immediately at ease and allowed us to feel happy about leaving our little boy with (initially) a stranger. Her communication is always impeccable, and she consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that our son reaches his potential with her. This is particularly impressive considering that our son has a disability, and Bev has always been very proactive in thinking about what else she can put in place to help him.
The only reason our son is leaving is that we moved out of area and commuting is no longer viable, however if we could move Bev and her family next door to us, we would have done so in a heartbeat. It has been heart-wrenching to leave, and we know our son would have continued to thrive in her care.
Bev is one in a million, and you will never regret putting your children in her care. It will be the best decision you make <3

Thank you, and I am going to miss all of you, particularly your son, it was an honour for you to have trusted in me.
I am a first time mum and having Bev has been honestly the best decision I made. She is attentive, responsive and caring. My son has developed great within her care and he loves attending her setting. Bev has become a part of the family and I can’t commend her enough on how well she looks after my son.

Absolutely brilliant in every aspect. Looking after and supporting your little ones from baby upwards and parents too! Really supportive to parents and an excellent provider of home from home care and helping preschoolers prepare for school. All those accolades are well deserved, wonderful family, definitely recommend you call and visit!

I found Bev through the childcare.co.uk website in February this year, and I am really pleased to have found her.
My daughter was 9 months old when she started attending Bev's setting full-time in April. I can't praise Bev and her husband highly enough - I have been really pleased with the care they have provided for my daughter. It is clear that she feels very comfortable in Bev's home and with Bev's family as she settled in very quickly there.
Bev has continuously encouraged my daughter's development eg learning to stand, then learning to walk etc. Furthermore, my daughter loves being amongst the other children, and the older children encourage her along the way with the new things that she is learning too.
Bev has also been a great source of advice and reassurance for me as a first time mother which has been invaluable. Bev has a real empathy for mothers returning to work, which was a comfort when I went back to work after my maternity leave.
Sadly, we are moving away from the area and our only regret of moving is that we cannot take Bev with us! We will really miss her and her family.
