I work with one assistant to provide a small, home-from-home environment for children aged 0-3, to give them as much quality time as possible. I have an enclosed, well-equipped garden, where children have a genuine opportunity to learn through play, and have a wide variety of resources available for each age group. I am set up to accept the new Funding.
Ofsted registered since 2008, I live with my husband and one school-aged child in a character cottage in N12. I am happy to provide a copy of my latest Ofsted report (rated Outstanding - April 2019) for you to read. I can also show you my Comments book, which contains lots of lovely references from past and present parents.

My Experience
I have been an aunty from the age of 6 years old, so have been around children for most of my life. I love every minute of working with children, but understand how important it is to keep children safe, stimulated and nurtured at all times. I encourage parents to contact me any time to find out how their little ones are doing.

(PS: Although I am in the catchment area for Moss Hall Nursery, Infants and Juniors schools and Northside Primary School, I have no nursery or after-school pick-up/drop-off spaces available at present. Sorry.)

Finding a childminder for your child is always a difficult task. We never thought that we would find somebody to trust as much as we trust Marion.
From day one she made us feel comfortable. Being there, talk with her, watching her interact with our son, was a real pleasure. Marion has a great energy and she is a very positive person.
Following a bad experience with a childminder I gave a very short notice to Marion as I had to go back to work as soon as possible. Marion made whatever she could to help us and to reassure us that everything will be find and our son will be ready and settled within few days. Indeed, our child settled without any problem. We couldn't believe how happy he was when we picked him up the first day. Always, he seems to enjoy the time to the nursery. You can see that Marion enjoys what she does, she loves children and she has a very unique approach with them.
A home visit as part of the settling process is the cherry on the cake!
We feel so lucky to have find her, we would recommend her with close eyes!

Our son has been with Marion for the past 1.5 years (from age 1 to 2.5) and absolutely loves it. Marion has created a fantastic world with so much varied play and learning. Our son always comes home with new stories and songs that he has learned that day. She created a wonderful, safe, loving world where the little ones can socialise and play together at their own pace. We are so happy with our son's time with Marion, and the only reason we are leaving is because we are moving away from London. Sign up now!

Our little girl has been with Marion for just over a month. Initially anxious about finding someone who I would be happy to leave her with we visited a number of childminders. We chose Marion as the friendliest, most welcoming and inventive of those we met. After only four weeks our little girl is incredibly happy and has made herself at home.
As part of the settling in process Marion came to play at our home. This meant our little girl knew her from day one. For the first week I received photos to show me everything was fine.
Now I get an update each day and can read the daily update of what's been going on. The children take part in a number of activities including playgroup twice a week, story time, outside play and trips out.
I would recommend Marion as a fantastic Childminder.

My 2 year old boy is looked after by Marion 3 days a week and he has been there for a little over a year. Shortly we will be leaving the UK and going to live in Australia and so we feel very sad for our boy leaving Marion's; its going to be difficult to find someone like her. He is extremely happy there, in fact he shouts with joy when we approach her house and then he runs inside with not even a backward glance at us parents.
When looking for childcare, we looked at three nurseries and six childminders and to us we felt Marion offered the best setting. Its easy to see that Marion and her assistants love children and are passionate about looking after children. Unlike some others, it was evident that this isn't a 'job' for Marion, but rather something she purely loves doing with her day.
She offers up a very personal, caring, fun, educative and safe environment and all the children are very well behaved and enjoy each other's company very much.
We would highly recommend Marion's Munchkins to anyone that is considering childcare.
