About Me
I provide a warm and caring environment in a home from home setting where children thrive, develop friendships and feel safe and loved. My approach to childcare enables each child to reach their full potential in a holistic way.
Children have a full and varied routine with activities and experiences based around individual needs, promoting all aspects of their development in an informal approach.
I provide a dedicated space within my home along with a large garden and the opportunity for as many outdoor activities as indoor play. We also interact with the wider community visiting toddler groups, libraries, farms and parks on a regular basis.
My Experience
I've been a Registered childminder since 2004 and continually develop my expertise in all areas of childcare.
During my last Ofsted inspection (graded good) I received lots of positive feedback about my setting:
"Children truly do enjoy and achieve within this well-managed and exceptionally child-centred provision. They are cared for by an exceptionally conscientious and skilled early years practitioner who has a sound and realistic understanding of child development."
My Qualifications
I hold a NVQ level 3 qualification in Childrens Care Learning and Development and have also undertaken many short courses on a variety of subjects relevant to providing children in their early years the best possible start.
