My Summary
About Me
Available from October. Fridays. Occasional, ad-hoc hours.
Chekable references. Ofsted register. 17 years experience. I live in Morden-Mitcham.
My name is Ausra. I am 52 year old woman originally from Lithuania, qualified as a teacher.
In London I live and work as a nanny since 2007. Till now I was happy to be a long term nanny. My first position was live in nanny for the nearly three years. My second position was live out nanny/housekeeper for the six and half year. The following position was a childminder's assistant for the 9 months. The third - live out, part time, for the 3 and half year. Because this position was a part time, so to cover other 2 days I worked as an emergency nanny for the four years. This way I have gained a lot of difference experience of childcare, e.g. to look after the twins.
Currently I am looking after the adorable boy who started school this September. I have been with him since 2021.
During my 17 years of nannying I have been looking after children from 4 months till 12 years old.
I am a hard working, responsible, reliable, serious, patient and very calm person. My approach to a child is gentle, kind, respectful and fair. I would never rise my voice or lose my temper. I like to teach, engage with children, encourage they likings. I have a mothering touch. It is such a pleasure to show the world to a child and to be the witness of child's milestones.
I am open to the new things. I can easily adapt to any environment.
I am an optimistic, polite, honest, loyal, friendly and like to think positively.
My hobby is a reading.
I have came to the U.K. to learn English, to become familiar with English culture and to meet the new people.
And luckily, I have found my dream job - to be a nanny.
My Experience
All my life I have been working with children. In Lithuania as a secondary school teacher (10 years), in London as a nanny (17 years).
My youngest child I look after was 4 months old, the oldest - 12 years old.
During 17 years I have been working for the four families. For the first one I worked nearly three years (1 baby boy 6 months old), for the second - six and half years (four children - 11 months, 5 years, 7 years, 10 years). For the third one 3,5 year (1 boy - 12 months old). The fourth, current family, 3.5 year (1 boy - 12 months old).
I keep in touch with all the families I work for.
For the one year I worked as a childminder's assistant. There were baby (4 moths old) and three toddlers. I very value this experience.
2016-2020 I work as an emergency/temporary nanny as well. I am very proud with my abilities to be so flexible, so adoptable and brave.
And a few temporary positions in between my permanent positions: family with 8 months twins, family with 5 months twins and family with two daughters - 10 months and 4 years old.
I am able to give you UK checkable references.

Ausra has been my child’s Nanny for three and a half years and we absolutely love her! She’s punctual, calm, loving, values diversity and is very inclusive. She has taught my child good habits and takes care to feed him well and has inculcated a love for books and nature in him. We feel like she is a part of our family and although my child goes to school now, we find it hard to let her go and want to keep her for as long as possible. I can’t rate her highly enough!
Ausra has been part of our family for two years now. I ask her to babysit for my little one from time to time. She is the best carer one can find with her approach to little ones. She goes above and beyond for what is required - always reliable and highly trusting. Ausra is the kind of person you would like to care for your child - with her considerate approach, caring character, and loving personality. My little one is now three and sure, I will stay Ausra's client for as long as I need a sitter. We are super lucky to have found her.
I have a major complaint about Ausra - that she has set the bar far too high! No other nanny will ever be good enough now!
Ausra is an absolute gem. She has provided ad hoc care for our daughter from around 6 months old to nearly two years, before we moved to a different county. I don't know how it's possible to be so calm yet so energetic at the same time. The way she has dealt with our daughter has been like magic - I have barely heard her cry or whine when she is with Ausra - I wish I knew how she did it!
Ausra is always polite, on time, and easy to get on with. She uses her initiative and has given our daughter 100% attention and commitment. We are very fussy about who we leave our daughter with, but I have the utmost trust in Ausra. She is one of the people I will miss the most now we have moved house, but I am very glad to have known her!
I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone (only now that we are out of area - if I was still there, I wouldn't recommend her at all, as I would like to keep her for ourselves ;-D )!
Ausra was with us for 2 months looking after our 1 year old and also helping with our 5 year old. She is incredibly calm, patient and friendly. We felt very confident in her abilities and were sad to see her leave!
