My Experience

I have been nannying for the last 15 years, and I also have had 5 years of childcare experience previously.


For the last few years I have been a temporary and emergency nanny in London and abroad, for various families for one day up to a few months. This includes rota nannyimg, proxy parenting and travel nannying.

In 2017 I worked for a Kenyan family in Nairobi on a temporary placement.

2014 to 2017

I looked after 2 children 2 and 4 years old in a full time role in Surrey.


I looked after 3 boys full-time from 2010 to 2013 (who were then aged 6months, 8months and 2.5 years old) I take them out daily to toddler groups, music, gym, soft-play centres .

In March 2006 for 3 months in Kenya I volunteered to help in an orphanage looking after 30 girls aged 1 to 10. My role included mucking in and helping with all aspects of the home- including handwashing clothes daily, helping to prepare their meals, teaching a few lessons (sports, and health classes) to organising games and activities for them all to do. I often overlooked meal-times and bed-times on my own to try to get the girls into a routine for future workers and volunteers to stick to. As this experience shows, I am not afraid of hard work!

I have also worked at a summer camp in the USA looking after girls aged 5 to 15 teaching sailing and being a lifeguard, and in my last year at Sixth form, I volunteered in a school with some children who had some learning difficulties and I helped out once a week. This voluntary work was very rewarding.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
