Hi ,my name is Silvy, I have lived in Egham for the past 18 years, I live with my husband and son in a 3 bed house with a large garden, Iam a very patient person with a great sense of humour.Iam very close to my minded children and good friends with the parents.
My Experience
Iam an Ofsted registered childminder with over 15 years experience in the childcare field. I pride myself on providing a home away from home to the minded children,who become part of my family.I place great importance on teaching the children to love and respect themselfs and each other.My home is a warm and caring environment. I also offer babysitting services in the evenings and weekend in your own home.
My Qualifications
Iam ofsted registered and have attended a pre registration course, I hold a first aid certificat and a safeguarding children certificate.
also attended various courses ranging from child development to food safety!, currently studying for a children and young people care diploma.

Ihave a vacancy for 3 month -5 years , Ihave also got 1 after school vacancys with pick up from most local schools, I can also offer school holiday care and babysitting

Silvy came into our lives from a recommendation after a negative experience with a previous childminder. She came to our rescue and was so helpful and understanding when we didn’t even know her. Silvy has looked after my three year old for almost 2 years and has looked after my 16month old from when he was 7 months old. She treats them like family and I trust her 100% with my boys. My eldest has some developmental delays and has communication difficulties, but Silvy is incredibly kind and patient, she has really brought out the best in him. My sons both adore Silvy and I feel incredibly lucky to have her as our childminder. I would absolutely recommend her, she is amazing.

I'm so glad I found Silvy when I was looking for childcare for my daughter 2 years ago.
Silvy is caring, friendly and always professional following all policies and procedures to ensure the children in her care are safe and happy.
She has so much patience and enthusiasm for her job and such a real love of the children she cares for.
My daughter is always happy and excited to spend the time with Silvy. She always gives her big hug and says "I missed you".
I highly recommend her for anyone looking for top quality, reliable, caring childminding in Egham.

Silvy has looked after our two sons since the first of them started school nearly 3 years ago. She has been wonderful - kind, caring, patient, friendly, able to keep discipline very calmly. The boys both love her. She has always been very accommodating when we've asked to make changes at short notice. Asked about their time with Silvy, Son 1: "Amazing", Son 2: "So friendly". Highly recommended.

Silvy looked after my son since he was 1, when he could barely walk and talk. My son is now five and a half and Silvy is still the super caring, loving, and attentive childminder who picks him up from school. Silvy always looked after him and helped him developing new skills and gaining new experiences. Even in times of pandemic, she has always been super attentive, she has taken extra precautions so we knew our son was in the best hands. We felt we could rely on her completely, she has always given precious advice in a very professional way but at the same time with a personal touch. We couldn't have hoped for a better childminder, whom - after four years of childcare - we consider part of our family.

My sons been with Silvy for a while now and is extremely happy. Silvy is really loving, caring and nurturing with the children. She's highly flexible and reliable. She's extremely tidy and clean and is always smiling along with the children. I have no hesitation in recommending Silvy to any parent that is looking for a hands on reliable childminder.

Silvy has been such a Godsend. She's very straight forward to deal with and will help you out where ever she can. Her home is a welcoming environment and Silvy is especially vigilant when it comes to the safety and happiness of the kids. My kids have even come home with good habits I haven't got round to teaching them...oops!
I'll definitely be back to her as an adhoc babysitter now we're not in the position to need a childminder regularly :-)

Silvy cared for our 7 months old daughter Victoria during the summer months this year on a full time basis and we have only stopped due to a change in our own circumstances. From the start Silvy has always demonstrated the most professional and caring attitude - we could not have asked for more.
On our first meeting Silvy was very clear and straightforward about her terms and attitude to children; an approach based on kindness and politeness, which Silvy consistently demonstrated and which led to our daughter blossoming and developing a very strong bond with her. Victoria visibly brightened and would be beaming every morning when she arrived at Silvy's door.
On occasion we had to change our plans and Silvy was understanding and flexible.
Silvy provides a clean and safe environment for the children and seems to broker a positive, caring relationship between them. She is very knowledgeable (not surprising based on her experience) and shared many useful thoughts about Victoria's health and development, but always openly and without ever being pushy.
We plan to continue to use Silvy as a babysitter and, if our circumstances change, as a childminder again.

My son has been with Silvy for nearly 11 months (age 12 months to 23 months), and we (and he!) have been so happy. We are only stopping the care because I will be on maternity leave soon, so I will be able to stay with him at home.
Silvy is very vigilant about anything safety or safeguarding related. I knew my son was always safe in her hands. She also has high standards for cleanliness and hygiene, but just as important to us was her high standard for good manners, politeness, and kindness. Our son was saying "thank you" and "please" before he was saying "yes" or "no"! And of course, most importantly, we are so grateful for the love and affection she has given him. They have a very special bond. He runs to her every morning and leaps into her arms. It is so comforting to know that he is secure and happy and being given heaps of cuddles and kisses just like he would at home. One of the reasons we chose a childminder over nursery for him at this young age is because we wanted him in a home environment with intimate care by one person, and Silvy has definitely provided a home away from home for him, just as she says in her description. We will be forever grateful to Silvy for all she has done for our baby boy!

We have so appreciated Silvy's kindness towards our son and our family. She has provided excellent care for our little boy and has established a close, affectionate bond with him. She has consistently gone above and beyond the call of duty and we will all miss her.

Silvy has looked after our son, James (5) for just over a year. We needed a flexible, reliable childcarer that we could depend on to collect James from school and look after him until we got home from work.
Silvy has impressed me from the start with her dedication and professionalism. She has maintained the same approach throughout and I am pleased to say that I have found her very straighforward to deal with.
Silvy has, on several occasions, acted as emergency contact when James has been ill and neither my husband or I could get to the school quickly enough. She is the sort of person you can really rely on. She has also been flexible on many occasions when we were running late or stuck in traffic.
I would recommend Silvy to working parents that need someone who is experienced, reliable, professional, straightforward, and flexible.
