About Me
Hello, I am Mandy. I am 44 years old and have been child-minding for just over 15 years and absolutely love it. I became a child-minder simply because I wanted a career working with children, my mum was a foster parent when I was growing up so she was and still is my inspiration. Child-minding allows me to work with children and also spend more time with my 2 gorgeous sons who are my world and my granddaughter who is 1 years old.
Travis is my oldest boy, he is 22 years old.
Jake is my youngest boy, he is 17years old He attends Fareham collage studying game design.
My facilities include a playroom for the children filled with toys, games, books and art and crafts. It also has a television.
A living area with comfy sofas, large tv for chilling out
A large garden.
I take the children on regular outings to the park, beach, play groups and indoor play arenas. I also take occasional trips to the cinema with the older children.
Indoors we play games, do lots of arts and crafts and story time.
I live just off Whitworth road and do school runs to Leesland School.
I supply all breakfast/main meals/snacks and juice free of charge, lunches and any dietary foods will be supplied by you.
We also have a cat that is brill with the kids named Buddy.
My Experience
I have 15 years experience child-minding children between the ages of 9 months to 15years.
I am a mother myself to 2 boys 22 and 17years old.

Mandy is amazing with all the children she looks after and I fully recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, fun and committed childminder. She has always been fantastic with my 2 children and they thoroughly enjoyed their time there - I always had peace of mind knowing that they were both well cared for and that they were safe and happy.
I knew I could always approach Mandy if I needed anything or had any concerns (which there was rarely any at all!). Mandy is a lovely and supportive person and I trust her 100%, she has provided both my children a wonderful before and afterschool experience in the years that they have been there, and I truly appreciate everything that she has done for us as a family - I would have been lost without her...she is an absolute star!

My daughter has been with Mandy for a couple of years now. Straight from the beginning my daughter was made to feel part of the family. There is always a sense of family based fun in the house. The house oozes a friendly, fun and safe vibe.
With my daughter being a only child, the environment at Mandy's has enabled my daughter to experience a busy, bustling and energetic household.
Mandy always ensures special dates in the calendar do not go unnoticed, she always goes the extra mile to ensure she facilitates the children make something special.
As a full time working mum, sometimes long hours, with my daughter being at Mandy's before and after school I have always had peace of mind knowing my daughter is safe and well looked after.
Mandy has always been flexible and helped out with unexpected working hours by having my daughter on days and hours not originally planned.
Mandy is attentive with all children in her care but without being overbearing, a great balance!! She has noticed, on occasions, when my daughter has not been herself and has brought it to my attention.
I highly recommend Mandy as a top rate child minder who has a heart of gold with a wonderful safe and fun home, which she makes you feel part of.

Both my children (aged 8 and 4) go to Mandy's before and afterschool and I know they are safe, happy and very well cared for. There is a variety of things for them to do throughout the year and I know this keeps them entertained!
Mandy and Doug are brilliant with the children and I have had no problems at all. As a fulltime working mum I know that I can drop my children off with ease and know that they will be settled and get to school safely. Same goes when it comes to picking them up! I know that they will have had a snack, drink and had a chance to play or relax afterschool. This helps me massively as I haven't got two hungry, unhappy kids to contend with as soon as we get through the door!
I know I can approach and talk to Mandy if needed and she will support us how ever she can (we are a Forces family, so my partner can be away quite a lot!) I would highly recommend Mandy to anyone looking for childcare...I think she is truly fantastic!
My children are settled, happy and have made some great friends along the way too.

My daughter started going to Mandy when she was just 1 year old and now she is 6 and her brother who is 1 now goes as well. Mandy, Catherine and Doug are all great with the kids. I am very lucky to have found a childminder who works on a saturday. As a hairdresser it is my busiest day of the week. Mandy is also very flexible to me as I have to go on courses and attend meetings on different days too. My children love going and both have thrived in Mandy's care and always come home having had a lovely day.

I have a 3 year old son and a 1 year old Daughter who are currently in Mandys care. My Son has been with other childminders in the past and had some settling issues But from the minute he met Mandy he was very happy and settled and always looks foward to going round her house. Mandy has a genuine love of children and has been extremely accommodating to my childcare needs working around my husbands shift pattern which has been known to change with very little notice. She is Flexible, very reasonable charges and brilliant with my children. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a childminder in the Gosport area.

My daughter started with Mandy this evening when we had a meeting with her last week my daughter was very excited and kept going on about when she was starting as she was excited. Sienna (my daughter) really enjoyed her hours spent with Mandy and had loads of fun. On our journey home Sienna kept saying how much of an amazing time. Mandy welcomed me and my daughter with opened arms and is a very nice polite person. I would defiantly recon and her to anyone who wishes to use a childminder. She is very reasonable and nice to be around. I am very happy and satisfied with the way Mandy is with my child. :) x

Mandy looked after my 2 daughters for a bout 5 years with a short break inbetween. My daughters always enjoyed their time with Mandy and her family. She arranged various activities and outings so they always had fun things to do. When both girls started school she helped settle them in, taking them to and from school. The girls were sad when I left work and no longer needed childcare. I now have another small daughter and if a time comes when I need a childminder again I will defiantly ask Mandy!!
