About Me
Hello, I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder with 26 years experience. I am kind, caring, fun loving and sensitive to childrens' needs and feelings (and the parents' for that matter). I offer a warm, loving, family and homely environment but at the same time follow the guidelines outlined by Ofsted, giving the children an opportunity to learn through play. We go out every day doing fun activities such as visiting local toddler groups, music groups, parks, soft play, libraries and nature trails, all of which are nearby. I like to take into account the childrens interests, likes and dislikes when planning the day. Easy parking outside the house, near Orpington station and bus routes. I offer healthy, nutritious food, again taking into consideration their likes and dislikes. We have two children, a daughter aged 27 and a son aged 23
My Experience
I have worked as a childminder for 26 years and looked after boys and girls aged from 12 weeks old to 13. I have seen them from babies, through to pre school, primary and secondary school and having two of my own have gained experience through the various stages of childhood. I will make them feel at home here understanding how hard it is for them to leave their home and family, as it is equally hard for the parents to leave them.

My Qualifications
I have attended many local authority childcare courses, certificates are available on request.
I have successfully completed a Paediatric First Aid course covering topics specified by Ofsted and fulfilling Ofsted requirements for Child Carers.
My Availability
I have a vacancy from immediate start and am available 7.30am - 6pm Monday to Thursday but can be flexible.

I met Jane about 2 months ago but the first time I spoke to her on the phone, I knew she was the one to look after my baby.
She's very kind and caring and all the children love her. She provides a home away from home atmosphere for the little ones and my girl who wasn't happy in any other person's company except mine was happy and comfortable in her company soon as she picked her up.
She's very professional and accommodating to my work needs and I thank God for her. Jane engages the kids in diverse activities, according to their ages and individual needs and I wish I had met her sooner. She is the best cylinder ever! God bless you Jane!
