About Me
I am a registered Child Minder in Kinglassie. I live in a 4 bedroom house where my 2 front rooms are set up as playrooms. I have a large secure garden.
I have been registered as a childminder since 2012, I have 2 grown up daughters whom I'm very close to. My daughters are also my named assistants, we work as a team each day enabling us to do more with our children such as out and about each day.
My eldest Michelle has 15+ years experience in childcare settings. Michelle has a NC in Nursing, SVQ level 3 in Play-work and a PDA in supporting learners. Michelle is one of my assistants.
My youngest Karen is also my assistant she has her SVQ level 2 in play-work and a SVQ level 3 in health and social care
I have experience in nursery settings, I worked in a nursery for over 3 years which I thoroughly enjoyed it was then I decided I wanted to be a child minder.
I have completed Child protection training, and Baby/Child First Aid.
My Experience
I have been registered with the care inspectorate since September 2012. I, myself have worked in a private nursery prior to my registration. Michelle worked in after school clubs, managed various clubs then helped to set up and run a private nursery in St Andrews. Karen worked in after school clubs then moved on to health and social care.
