About Me
Hello, my name is Claire and i am an Ofsted registered Childminder graded 'Good' in all areas, i am married to Douglas, we have 2 children. We live in the village of Stanton, which is well served, it has shops, a Doctor's surgery, two schools, and where we live we are a stone's throw from the park and a large wood. There is also a mobile library, Surestart Center, which holds a popular 'Stay and Play' group, and a toy library.
We have cats which the children all love and it enables them to learn how to care for animals from a very early age.
My Experience
l have over twenty years Childminding experience, plus i was also a children's Nanny for three years when i first left school. I have looked after children of all ages including newborns.
I like to visit the local Surestart Center regularly so that the children can socialise with other children, also using the Toy Library, so that i always have a fresh supply of resources available.
l love looking after people's children, watching them grow and develop, I feel it l like to work very closely with parents, ensuring that i follow what care they would like to receive for their little one's at all times.
The children have constant access to various resources both inside and out, ranging from learning toys/games, play doh, messy play which includes paint, coloured foam, oobleck and water beads. I do try to plan for the children but feel it is equally as important to have child lead activities in order for the children to build their confidences and for their little minds to develop to their full potential.
Every child that comes into our home is treated like part of our family, i offer a warm, nurturing loving home environment, with lots of cuddles waiting for your little ones.

My Qualifications
l hold a current First Aid certificate, Safeguarding Children and Food and Hygeine. l am looking to work towards my NVQ 3 shortly, and would like to undertake any other training that i feel would be useful in my job.
My Availability
l have a full-time vacancy at the moment, and a part-time vacancy
l will be as fleixble as i can to help parents at all times.
My hours of work are Mon-Friday 7.30- 6.00
l can also offer funding for 2,3 and 4 yr olds

My son Archie has been going to Claire for nearly 6 months now and really enjoys himself. Lots of toys and things to do. His development and speech has come on brilliantly since being with Claire :) He's treated like one of Claire's own children which I love. She is very flexible and will try her best to help out where she can.

My child has been going to Claire's for almost two years. During that time, they have built up an excellent relationship and we have absolutely no concerns.
Claire is very friendly and approachable, and is flexible and accommodating. She is patient and takes a great interest in all aspects of the children lives.
The children seem to have a good level of social interaction through each other and various playgroups, and get lots of outdoor activity.
Claire maintains a safe and happy environment for our child to thrive in- and comes highly recommended!
