About Me
I am 44years of age and live in Putnoe with my husband, our two children aged 15yrs and 9yrs and our friendly dog Jaspa. I am a professionally trained montessori early years educator and have worked in montessori and non montessori nurseries. I have also worked for 9 years as a private nanny. I have been a registered childminder for over 10 years and received 'good' on my recent OFSTED inspection. I have a large bright playroom opening on to a large safe and secluded garden. Our daily activities include going to playgroups, painting, collage, baking, puzzles and lots of creative play including songs and music. We are lucky to live near a large park and numerous open spaces and take daily walks, together with visiting appropriate playgroups. I am prepared to be flexible and will be happy to discuss your individual requirements.
My Experience
I have been a registered childminder for 8 years with over 20 year experience looking after children from newborn to 12 years. Activities for children in my care will include a wide range of arts and crafts, baking, outdoor play, also visits to local groups, parks and library visits.

Both my sons have been with Hannah. One since 18 months and the other in the holidays and after school pick up since the age of 4. Both settled really well enjoying all the activities Hannah does in the home from home environment. Having used nursery schools previously I would highly recommend this childminder service and wouldn’t think twice to return to a nursery setting. As a parent Hannah has kept us informed and updated and makes you feel at ease. She is flexible and approachable. My two have always been happy at drop off and pick up. I would highly recommend Hannah’s hedgehog’s.

Hannah was my son’s childminder for 2 years. My son started childcare with Hannah when I first went back to work. We had recently moved into the area and I was starting a new job. What could have been a really stressful and emotional time for me, was made so much easier by Hannah. I knew that he received as many kisses and cuddles from Hannah as he did when he was at home with me. Hannah joins forces with other childminders for play dates so this really boosts their interaction and social skills. Additionally, she would take my son to a playgroup where he would sing songs etc. Hannah was very flexible with my working arrangements and I’m very grateful for that. My son loved his time with her and it is only due to him starting nursery that he will no longer be attending.

Hannah has cared for my 11month old son for 2 months now and I will definitely want him to continue for a long time yet! Hannah has made the whole process of returning to work and leaving my son with a childminder a very positive experience. I have seen my son grow in confidence around adults, children, situations and environments. She has nurtured him by taking him to 2 playgroups per week, arranging playdates, organising craft activities, going for walks with her lovely dog and spending time at the park. I value Hannah's time spent with my son. He is very happy to go to Hannah's house which is a lovely setting for young children to play and grow. He loves playing with different toys from home and being around other children and of course woth Hannah! Hannah makes hand-over time very easy. I would definitly recommend her.

My 18 month son has been going to Hannah's since Sept 2017 and he loves going each week. Hannah does many activities during the week including walks out, going to play groups and painting and arts at home. Her home is a lovely setting for children.
Hannah keeps me updated with how his day has been and sends through photos of what he has been up to.
I would highly recommend Hannah to anyone looking for a childminder.

Hannah has looked after both of my children, my son for 6 months until he started preschool and my 2yr old daughter who is still going to Hannah. Both kids have enjoyed going to Hannah's where previously at nursery they both cried at drop off. Hannah has been able to give more focused care to the children, doing more 1 on 1 activities such as writing skills for my 4 year old and providing a calmer 'home from home' for my daughter. Both children have flourished in her care and I'd recommend Hannah without hesitation

My son started with Hannah at the beginning of November. My son has always enjoyed being with Hannah and her other children, Hannah would always send me a daily diary so I knew what my son had been up to with some photos of him having some fun which is brilliant as my son usually is upset when being dropped off, so to see him smiling and happy helped very much.
I would recommend Hannah to anyone needing childcare with a friendly childminder

Hannah has been looking after my son for three months now and is amazing. She was great at helping him settle in and making him feel at home. My son loves going to her house, they go on lots of outings to play groups, for walks or play dates and he always has a wonderful time. He's really come out of himself since going to Hannah and is much more confident. She has been extremely flexible, she's always warm and welcoming and keeps me up to date on daily activities. I would highly recommend Hannah to anyone looking for good childcare.

My little girl (2 years old) went to Hannah during the week for about a year. Hannah did some lovely activities, including baking, painting and art work as well as lots of outside play, walks and playgroup visits. My little girl was really happy and always looked forward to going. Hannah has a lovely set up and really promotes learning and independence. A real 'home from home' setting. I would highly recommend Hannah to anyone looking for childcare. Communication was great and I felt really involved at all times. Wonderful.

Hannah is a fantastic childminder. My little girl loves to go to Hannah's and they always have so much fun. I'm kept updated with what has been going on during the day and I never have any concerns about leaving my daughter with her. Hannah provides a very stimulating environment and my daughter has developed in leaps and bounds since going and always talks about Hannah, her family and the other children that Hannah looks after. I would definitely recommend Hannah as a childminder.

My little girl has been with Hannah for two months now and absolutely loves it. Hannah is fantastic with my little girl and spends alot of time doing different activities with her and taking her to playgroups.Hannah provides a good variety of meals and snacks and my little girl has blossomed since being at her childminders. I would thoroughly reccomend anyone looking for a childminder to consider Hannah.
