About Me
My name is Annemarie warner I’m an ofsted registered childminder I live in the village of Lanchester with my hubby Neil who works as an electrician on a camper van line and our two children my son who 18 and at college studying games production and my daughter 21 who is at university studying film production and acting for tv and film
i am a qualified nursery nurse with a NNEB level 3 diploma in childcare 0-7 yrs
I have worked in nurseries and schools for over 30 years and I have been a ofsted registered childminder for the past 12years.
I provide a home from home setting with plenty of one to one time available for each child whilst following the EYFS guidelines and curriculum
We always go somewhere new everyday usually in the mornings with the little ones and we try inside and outside settings
Some of our favourite places we visit are chopwell woods ,thornley woods gibside , parks , reservoir saltwell, soft play many sensory and imaginative museums play centres and the library
I believe in learning through play in a home from home environment where the children feel safe secure and loved
encouraging children to play independently and together with friends so by the time they are ready for nursery/school they can play not only alone but can also join in and socialise with with others they have basic skills like dressing themselves and using the toilet
I believe in equal opportunities for all children and help them to navigate the world around them and to learn skills that will stand them in good stead for the future
Im currently full with one space becoming available in January.2025
I accept 15 and 30 hour funding
My Experience
I have 12 years experience as a childminder and have worked in nurseries and schools etc since completing my college course at 18 I also have two lovely bairns of my own who are now at uni and college My ofsted grading is good

NNEB diploma level 3 childcare birth to 7 years paediatric FirstAid safeguarding level one and two

I accept accept 9 month 2 and 3/4hr funding
I am full at the moment but will have full time space from January

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.75 per hour
My fees are £4.75 per hour this includes snack and drink any outings up to the price of £2 anything over and above this will be charged as extra on your monthly invoice. ( I do not provide meals)
My fees for after school are £5.25per hour for any part of an hour which includes a snack and drink
I do sibling discount this can be discussed

Annemarie has become a big part of my youngest sons life and I wish I'd found her sooner for my other children.
He goes 2.5 days a week and from day one settled immediately due to Annemaries maternal approach to the children. Every day is different, exciting and full of adventures. I get to hear & see photos full of my child exploring all new experiences and days out.
He loves telling me all about his day and Anne-Marie always makes sure to keep me updated and sends plenty photos.
In the setting there is more than enough toys for all the children and enough to never get bored! Annemarie is super kind, caring & compassionate and nothing is ever too much trouble.
I decided to keep my son with Anne-Marie for first half of week instead of full time nursery because he won't get to experience all the fun days out in rain, sun, snow or even storms the way he does with her.

I will miss that gorgeous smile of his when September comes
My oldest son has been with Annemarie for the last 5 years and it was the best decision we ever made. My youngest son went from 5 months old and there is no one I would have trusted more! It is their home from home and they absolutely love her and her family.

Annemarie has looked after my youngest daughter since she was about 3 months old. Both of my girls love her and still go now after school or in holidays at 5 and 8.
Because we’d seen how much she was learning as well as all the fun our five year old split the 30 hours with the local nursery to keep her with Annemarie for longer when she was eligible for nursery and she misses her days with her now in school.

We love Anmarrie and all the children love attending.
I sent my little boy Ollie-Joe at 7 months old after my little brother Alfie attended from 9 months until now 7. Alfie is now such a caring and polite little boy and still loves going to anmarries after school.
I love how much Ollie is developing and gets to go on days out learning something new, he always returns home like a completely different baby. He also has a milk allergy so it's nice that Anmarrie takes this on board.

What can I say about Annemarie! My little girl started going to Annemarie when she was 7 months old and honestly best thing I did was choose Annemarie as our childminder! My little girl absolutely loves annemarie and gets herself so excited when I drop her off! Annemarie is absolutely fantastic with the kids and I can’t recommend her enough! She’s more like family to us rather than a childminder!
