About Me
Hi, my name is Lisa. I am an Ofsted registered child minder in Kirkby in Ashfield. I have been childminding for 11 years now. I live with my partner and my 3 children who are aged 16 and 17 years old and our 3 year old baby. We also have regular contact/overnight stays with my partners children aged 12 years old and 14 years old. We have our family pets who the children love to play with and help care for.. our dog- Roxy, our cat- Kitty and our tortoise- Bernie
I offer a fun, safe and happy environment for children to play and learn. I offer indoor, outdoor play and we like to do trips out to the park, shops, farms, indoor play areas and the library. We also attend play group's and meet up with other child minders and their mindees to encourage their social skills and development whilst they're getting to meet new friends.
As a parent myself I understand it is hard to leave your child and I provide the care I would like my children to receive if I was to be leaving them with a childminder.
I can send regular updates/photos to show how your child is doing and what they are up-to :) I give feedback and photos at the end of the day too.
My Experience
I have always enjoyed caring for children, as a teenager I would babysit and look after family/friends children. I then went on to complete a NVQ level 2 childcare, learning and development. I have now completed the training and have qualified as a childminder along with recently completing my level 3 in Early years. I have 3 lovely children who are 16 and 17 years old and a 3 year old who enjoy the other children coming to play. I have experience of working with children all ages. I love working with children from a home environment, being able to follow their individual needs/ interests as much as possible. I have over 15 years experience working with children in different settings.

Lisa is a warm, loving, fun and very experienced childminder and has looked after both my children aged 18 months and 3 years old at the time. The setting is clean and well presented all the time. Lisa try to get them outside as much as possible to give the children fresh air and be able to run around and get some exercise, as well as many activities. They love her!
Both my children bonded straight away with her. We would definitely choose Lisa again if needed, she is reliable, punctual and flexible.

My little one has been going to Lisa since the end of September 2018 and she has been absolutely fantastic with him! He has come on leaps and bounds with her thanks to her time and attention she gives him. He is always happy when he gets dropped off in the morning and greets me with a smile when we pick him up at night! She truly has created a wonderful relationship with our little one and I can’t thank her enough! If you’re looking for a Childminder look no further Lisa is the one for you :) xx

Lisa is warm, friendly and caring making children feel welcome. My son can be shy but when i collected him from lisa it was clear he had enjoyed his time with her. Lisa's girls are well mannered and are a credit to her, making lisa an easy choice when choosing childcare. Highly recommend for children all ages.

My daughter absolutely loved going to Lisa and is very sad to have left Lisa’s. Lisa does lots of activities with the children like painting,drawings which my daughter loves and has such a large variety of toys my daughter enjoyed all the different choices of freeplay and was happy not to feel limited my daughter also loves the fresh meals prepared every day and as my daughter has coeliac disease Lisa made sure everything was in place and nothing contaminated and dealt with the situation so professionally. Thankyou so much Lisa Paige misses you.
