About Me
Hi my name is Beverley a childminder of 30 yrs plus :-) I’m fully vaccinated and had my boosters and so are my 2 grown up children who live at home ( both work , my son for the nhs and my daughter is a nanny ) and they also have their dbs same as myself . My sickness policy , I want to keep all the children and families safe and also my own family so if your child is sick I ask for them not to be brought into my setting it’s my duty of care to look after all childrens health and well being so let’s look out for one another !!! :-) My policy will stay the same with door step drop offs and pick ups so I will go forward with this for the foreseeable future . As of 12th June 2019 I got grated GOOD from Ofsted .... I love doing my job taking care of the children that come to my setting , a home from home environment , I have and give good care to children 0-3 I am honest, reliable, flexible trustworthy, easy going and fun which I believe is key working with children, i have good organisational skills and I’m flexible with hrs/ days when I can be I’m here to help to make your day less stressful . I look after children (possibly a Monday if 30hrs funding is needed ) Tuesday -Thursday my hrs are 8.30/ 9 until 400/4.30 . I also do term time only!! . Hours outside of the funded hours please ask me about. Confidentiality is a must as part of my safeguarding training and with my policies . At home i have some musical instruments so dancing around and singing is fun and a great way for the children to express themselves, and they love it when I’m blowing bubbles . I’m a setting that celebrates diversity and inclusion valuing each child's individuality, and promoting respect for others. I have lots of books and plenty of learning activities, lots of resources in my setting, I have a garden with slide, tent , water play , painting , grafts , tykes , rocker , dressing up clothes , paddling pool for those hot days , and there's always time for cuddles. My aim and what's really important to me is to have happy and contented children which equally make for happy parents. There's Nothing more satisfying as seeing the children happy and growing , thriving and learning while enjoying themselves. I am between Tufnell park tube and archway tube stations, the 390 and 134 stop outside our home so very good for transport for getting into work and back again for parent. I do a ‘all about me ' book which is information on your child their first language , any allergies they may have , favourite food , favourite toy , nap times etc this can only be seen by myself , the child’s parent and Ofsted. I keep in touch via wotsapp with photos of what we have been doing throughout the day , parents are always welcome to share photos too from the weekend and holidays . Working in partnership with parents is important to me and having good communication. I am a vegetarian so I do veggie homemade food , spaghetti Bolognese , lasagna, quinoa and vegetables, pasta cheese tomatoes , spinach, lentil cottage pie , salads Sheppards pie, butternut squash with spinach and cheesy potatoes, cheese omelettes,
fish pie and vegetables & deserts/snacks we have fruit , greek yogurt sandwiches a biscuit or two , toast and or crumpets, rice cakes, veggie finger snack.
My Experience
I am both a parent of 3 children now grown, 2 sons and a daughter i also have 3 beautiful grandchildren . I have been childminding for 30 yrs plus and still love it :-) i have looked after twins from an early age and siblings and babies from as young as 4 weeks .
My Qualifications
i have completed my cache level 3 nvq in children's care, learning and development , i have my paediatric first aid, dbs check, food hygine , health and safety, safeguarding and child protection,. life at two., equility and diverity, nspcc and i have also completed my fccers-r course with certificate., plus prevent duty and British values training.
,Training Days are on going so i can keep upto date with any changes plus it is compulsory with Ofsted and my LA , i do try and do this on saturdays so it doesn't interfere with my working week, but it is not always possible, plenty of notice is always given in advance to parents. i also work along side islington council and the children in need service i have done so for over 10yrs years.i work in partnership also with our local health visitors.
My Availability
I’ m open ( possibly Monday if 4 days of funding is needed ) Tuesday - Thursday 8.30/9 - 4.00 / 4.30 …. term time only children are welcome . I have 1 vacancy starting September. There’s lots of changes coming regarding funding from april 2025 15 hrs funding for working parents between 9 months and 23months and sept 2025 30hrs will start but please remember it is only term time which is 38 weeks, outside of this my fee applies . My hours for funded children will be from 8.30-4.00 or 9-4.30 on consecutive days , any questions on funding hrs please just ask :-) spaces will go quickly , you can take a look at ‘ childcare choices’ it will let you know if your eligible and gives you lots of info and your code which I will need with your letter of confirmation and proof of your child either passport or birth certificate hope this helps :-) I do the funding from 9 months old , I don’t do 1 day or half days of childcare or school pick ups or drops off I’m sorry to say .
Smear test screenings are at an all time low, for whatever reason women are choosing not to go. Yes it’s not pleasant, it’s uncomfortable, but hey, so is cancer and all it’s symptoms.
So, with that in mind, I am offering to provide FREE childcare for a one off session of upto 1 hour so that all you lovely mummy’s out there can go and get it done.
Please get your smear tests booked.... your child needs their Mummy.

My Fees
- Childminding from £8.50 per hour
Lunch and snacks are included , i like to have a 1week settling in period as this is a lovely time for your child and myself to get to know each other and for us to settle into a routine together, and for them to get to know and feel comfotable with the other child/children in my care . I am here for you and your child to help and support with the transition period also to support you in anything you need , always feel free to ask any questions , I keep you up to date via wotsapp with photos as to what we are doing throughout the day , I am a home from home with lots of cuddles when needed for the Little ones that are with me and plenty of reassurance to the child and parents . I like to work In Partnership with parents as the children are my priority... My fees can be given on request...

We have been with Beverley for a year now, and we couldn't be happier! She is incredibly professional, caring, and attentive to every child's needs. Beverley was an amazing carer to my son. She clearly loves children and my son loved every minute of his time with her. She provided him with a variety of toys, games, activities to engage him and would mark any special celebrations like birthdays, Christmas, Halloween etc by making special crafts for the occasion. She was accommodating in making food he liked and also adapting the day to his routine including nap time. I would not hesitate in recommending Beverley as a childminder.

We couldn't have asked for a better childminder for our son. Beverley is super positive and caring. She always goes the extra mile to help the kids that she is looking after, either by celebrating highlights during the year (Chinese New Year's, Black History Month, Coronation etc.) or by letting us borrow some of her books/toys. She genuinely wants the best for our child and our son has always had a smile on his face when he's been there.
She cooks her own food for the children. On top of all of that, she is also very flexible and accommodating when we have needed to adjust our diaries.

I was reading all the reviews prior to entering mine and it made me smile, however it did not surprise me to see how positively parents have reflected on Beverley's care.
She is so kind and understanding. In fact, I cannot think of a time when she wasn't accommodating or flexible to our needs. One can truly get sense of her love for the children by her attitude towards them, but also the kids loving to go and being with her.
We needed childcare for Susanna desperately and I met with quite a few childminders prior to discovering Beverley. When I messaged her she was on holiday and she still responded and was happy to meet. We kind of knew from that first experience that she's the one!
Then I met her and before we knew it, Susanna was settling in. Beverley has looked after Susanna for almost a year now. She's a fantastic communicator, always sharing news and photos about the kids' day and experiences and she is very caring, warm, kind, understanding, accommodating and loving. One can feel this with their own heart.
I cannot recommend Beverley enough. She's very accessible and affordable, which is a rarity in this day and age, especially when it comes to childcare in London. She has been truly instrumental to Susanna's upbringing and it's been such a joy and pleasure having her in our lives.
Thank you, Beverley, for all that you've been doing and the tons of love that Susanna has received from you and your warm home. You have been a dream to work with and I am sure whoever joins, will feel exactly the same!

We were in such a pickle with my husband and i both having to be back at work and were we would feel comfortable leaving our baby. I came across Beverley on this site and took a chance to see if she had availability, we set up a meeting and the moment we stepped into the door we knew our little baby would be loved and cared for as if she was home with us. She thrived in the environment Beverley has created in her home and made friends with the other kids. Unfortunately we are relocating but if we could take Beverley with us we would. So sad to be leaving.

Beverley has been taking care of our daughter for the past 6 months (she was 8 to 14 months old). Since we moved abroad we sadly had to leave her... we and our little one will miss her a lot!
Beverley is a joyful, generous, 200% dedicated and caring childminder. Her living room and her garden are filled with many many toys to stimulate children's imagination, curiosity and interaction with each other. She definitely helped our daughter to blossom in a very lively and encouraging environment making friends among the other kids.
Even though our daughter doesn't speak yet we just had to look at her smile in the morning or at her happy chatty time after a day at Beverley's to know she had a great day with her and the kids.
Not to mention Beverley has also been extremely flexible and accommodating with our agenda which was quite complicated... and most of all she really conquered the heart of our daughter!
We can't thank her enough for her care these past months.

Beverley is absolutely wonderful. She is so nurturing and adaptable to the needs of the children and the parents. She has been an absolute lifeline for us. She creates a safe, encouraging and engaging environment and my youngest daughter is so happy there I wish I had discovered her sooner for my eldest. She also makes a point of keeping up to date with educational and childcare training to maintain a high quality standard of care.

Bev is a very caring professional and nice childminder! She took care of my daughter for 2 months and she was very understanding and flexible due to my busy crazy schedule! My little one was very happy to go to hers and bev gave a lot of updated news throughout the day to see the evolution of my kid. I would reccomend her thousand times!

it was a pleasure to work with Beverly, we were really sorry to have to leave her since we are moving house.
Beverly's house is a very safe and loving environment for the children, my son did not have much of a settling period he loved her immediately! so after 2 days he started full time at Beverly's. Beverly created a whatssap group for us and send updates regularly through the day, it was such a peace of mind to see what my son was doing during the day and what he was having for lunch or what time did he nap, etc Beverly is a very friendly, down to earth and also very flexible, she was willing to support every-time we had an emergency or change of plans for the day. I highly recommend her, your children will love her.
