About Me
Hi my name's Lesley and I've been a registered childminder with Care Inspectorate since Sept 2012.
I live in Strathmore Drive with my two children Lewis and Erin. We have a friendly cat but you will rarely see her as she's scared of children and tends to stay upstairs!
I use my house, garden and outings to ensure that your child is learning and developing but most of all having fun....through play.
I'm not the childminder for you if you don't want messy, dirty or wet clothes and would rather your child stayed indoors because it's raining!
We do go outside as much as possible, this will include walks, visits to the beach, exploring in the woods, park or just splashing in puddles!!
If we are inside it can be anything from messy play to arts and crafts. We also go to soft play, toddlers and visit local shops. All in the safe knowledge that your child will be well looked after in a warm, loving, caring and fun environment.
I have a large enclosed garden for the children to use and the whole downstairs of my house.

My Experience
Apart from being a mum to two children since starting childminding I have looked after children of all ages ranging from 6 months to 11 years old.
I am committed to offering the best service I can and am constantly updating my qualifications.

As a anxious first time mum leaving my little one to go back to work was scary but finding Lesley was such a relief. knowing I was leaving my baby with someone I knew would take the best care of her made it a lot easier. I knew when I left hoona with Lesley she would have little adventures and have someone who would give her cuddles when she needed it.
What made me go with Lesley as a childminder was how calm, engaged and adored she was by the little ones she looks after.
Honestly if u are looking for a childminder I would 100% recommend Lesley, if we hadn’t had to move my little one would still be there :)

My son has been going to Lesley’s for childminding since the start of last year and has noticed a massive difference in his confidence around other children and in himself, thanks to Lesley and the care she puts into her job. She also takes the kids out for days out and gets them involved in fun and different activities.

My son has been with Lesley for just over a year now. He loves going and can't wait to get out of the car and into her house.
He's always looks like he's having a brilliant time in the photo updates that I get.
Lesley takes them everywhere and one of the main reasons we chose her as a childminder is how much time she spends with them outdoors, my son loves when they go exploring in the woods. Last week he even proudly came home with an ice ornament that they had made from the things they had found. Every day is a new adventure at Lesley's and he doesn't want to come home some nights!
Highly recommend Lesley and genuinely couldn't ask for anyone better or nicer to trust with our child.

My little girl has been with Lesley since the start of 2021. Lesley and her family were really welcoming my little girl settled in really fast and always looks forward to her day with Lesley and the friends she has made there. Lesley keeps her very entertained doing lots of different activities with lots of outdoor play.

Lesley had provided a childminding service for my son Carter from January 2017 to December 2020 full time. This is from Carter been 1-4. I cannot rate Lesley and her children enough for the love, care and attention Carter got during this time. He came part of the family and loved going to Lesley’s.
Carter’s social and developmental growth really excelled due to his time at Lesley’s. They went for long walks exploring and we’re always doing something. I used love getting the picture updates on Facebook of their adventures.
Carter was always coming home with pictures and crafts he was making and even Christmas decorations.
Carter also used to come home immaculately clean which is amazing considering he is quite a clumsy child.
We were all really sad when Carter left in December as Lesley and her children had become Carter’s 2nd family.
I cannot rate Lesley high enough and I was always 100% certain he was getting exceptional care.
