The most caring environment you could wish for!

Our daughter started at Sama's before she was a year old. Leaving your baby with someone else for the first time is such a daunting event, however Sama made this so easy and reassuring for us. We could tell by the first meeting that Sama is a woman who has a great love of children. In just four months, we have seen our baby grow into a confident, skilful and happy toddler. She meets Sama every morning with the biggest smile and cannot wait to go inside. Although it is our first experience of using childcare, we are confident that you will not find a more caring and nurturing environment. Our daughter has absolutely thrived in this amazing setting. Sama will take the children on regular outings, to toddler groups, or to the park. Sama also has an amazing garden where the children can play. She encourages children to explore their creative side by doing arts and crafts activities. Our daughter has also been very fortunate to experience Sama's cooking; she makes amazing lunches for the children, and they are never short on healthy snacks. We are so sad to be leaving Sama's Twinkle Stars, due to us relocating to Kent to be closer to family. We feel genuine envy to anyone lucky enough to secure a place with Sama!

My child could not be happier!

It was a blessing we found Sama. We wanted our daughter with someone who was going to really love and nurture her. Sama does exactly that. Great activities, food and friendship group. Sama is caring and creative with the children. Our daughter is so joyful when we arrive at Sama's and when she is home with us she talks about Sama and what activities they have been up to. Could not recommend highly enough.

Home from home!

Our son has been with Sama with over a year and he absolutely loves it. Its a total home from home for him! Sama is always prepared with fresh fruit & fun toys in the morning to avoid tricky drop offs, she plans such fun activities everyday & where the weather allows she gets the children outside and in nature. We love that Sama takes our son to local playgroups too, he comes home singing all the songs he’s learnt there. The food Sama prepares for our son is always fresh & homemade and super delicious. We love that Sama sends us photos throughout the day of what our son has been up to.

Outstanding

Sama has been caring for my two girls, one after school and the other as full-time nursery. It would be an understatement to say that both have age appropriately thrived in her care. She plans different kinds of activities for them and really puts attention to detail in her work. Sama is so good at her work that it does not seem like work but a passion to care for children. She is creative, hard working, trust worthy, etc.

Outstanding childcare

Our son started going to Sama's right after a very unpleasant experience at one of the "highest-rated" nurseries in Barnet. He started liking the place from day 1 and the fondness has only grown since. We have found that Sama understands children very well, is very professional and caring. Throughout the day she kept us updated with photographs via Whatsapp. The food is vegetarian. Sama was very accommodating with changing daily hours and offered us flexible contracts suiting our needs. The place is filled with happy vibes and it has been an experience that our son cherished. He made very good friends at Sama's and not a day passes by without him mentioning Sama and his little friends even though it has been more than a month since he stopped attending, as we had to travel out of the UK for a long trip.

Excellent childcare

From my first contact with Sama up until now I have found her to always be professional, helpful, understanding and caring. Sama took our son on from the age of 2yrs 8months, intitally 4 days a week, and then was very accommodating when our childcare needs changed and he started half days at nursery. Sama has always been very caring and our son has been very happy in her care. Communication between us has been great, lots of photos via whatsapp during the day and catching up at pick up and drop off.
I would recommend Sama to anyone, her home setting is lovely and the children love her.

Kind and caring childminder

Our son started going to Sama when he was around 15 months old and settled in really quickly. He goes to Sama four days a week and absolutely loves it!
Sama is so caring and has created a warm and loving environment for the children she looks after. Our son has made lots of friends and often doesn't want to come away as he is having so much fun...
Sama often takes them out to playgroups or to the park in the morning and we are sent plenty of photographs throughout the day of how he is getting on. The house and garden are also very spacious and the children are often outside playing.
The lunches Sama cooks (homemade, vegetarian and healthy) always look amazing (she sends us a photo most days of what he is having for lunch) and he loves them, always finishing them off.
When needed, Sama is flexible with drop off and pick up times - which is really appreciated when you are relying on trains to get back from work on time.
We couldn't have asked for a better home-from-home environment for our son, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sama.

We found a gem !

Sama has been looking after our son at the age of 1 year alongside our daughter after school who attends Lyonsdown just down the road. I was a bit apprehensive about how my son would settle as I had not left him with anyone during my year on maternity leave. After a 2 week period of settling in sessions prior to me returning to work, he settled in no time and looks forward to going there every morning. Equally my daughter loves going there after school and during the holidays and has made some great friends there, including her sons. Sama regularly communicates with us during the day, sending pictures and videos. This was particularly reassuring during the initial weeks of settling in. It was such a relief receiving pictures of the children smiling and happy and made my return to work so much easier. Sama regularly takes the younger ones to playgroup. She has a wonderful outdoor play area and many activities which they do during the day (making things, arts and crafts, colouring, bingo, Easter egg hunt etc). Meals are home cooked and enjoyed by the children and after school snacks are enjoyed with some down time, much needed after a busy day. Overall we’ve been really happy with Sama’s care and wouldn’t hesistate to recommend her.

Warm and careful childcare

Our son started with Sama at around 18 months. Sama was very careful around the settling in period, and as this was our son's first time away from parents, this was very important.

Sama is a very warm carer and we quickly saw that our son was comfortable with her. One of our concerns with a nursery was that our son might not get the warmth and affection necessary at such a young age. Sama provides this.

Sama's setting is spacious and fun with a variety of toys and activities. Sama sends us photos of what she does with the children every day which is both delightful and assuring. She is currently working on learning new words with our son through rhymes and games.

We are very happy with Sama and genuinely feel a connection has been built between her and our son. Thank you Sama! Aside from childcare, Sama is a very generous and welcoming person and would recommend her to anyone.

Excellent care

Our daughter has been with Sama for more than 1.5 years, she started when she was only 7 month old. She absolutely loves it at Sama’s and the house has become her second home. She enjoys playing with other kids there as well as with Sama’s sons. Sama organises variety of games and activities (including fantastic handicraft) for kids, both inside and outside. They go to playgroups on a regular basis. We have had few occasions when she didn’t want to come home in evenings…
From my perspective, Sama has been very supportive and flexible. Our hours are from 7.30 until 18.30. Me and my partner we both work in the city and there have been occasions when we have been late - Sama has always accommodated this. She shares photos and videos so that we know what they are up to and it doesn’t feel that we spend long time away from our daughter. She also keeps a little diary for our daughter so that we know her sleeping, eating etc routine every day.
Regarding contract and financials - we have never had a problem. We knew that this service comes with deposit which is common practice everywhere. I discussed it with Sama first time we met, no confusion, no issues. We saw the contract template and then when it was filled out. Couldn’t have been quicker. Our main focus and time was spent on how to settle our daughter and explaining her likes and dislikes to help Sama taking over as smoothly as possible. And Sama really went an extra mile and did a great job with our daughter as she was in a clingy phase when she started.
Overall, our daughter has been very happy and this means us as parents have been very happy with Sama’s care.
