About Me
Hi there! I am an Ofsted registered childminder. I have now been a childminder for 16 years and have found my work to be really rewarding and enjoyable.
I have a warm, caring environment and I provide healthy cooked meals for the children. I often take the children to local toddler groups, the library and the park, and on trips in the summer time. My aim is to ensure babies and children feel safe and happy and that they develop and learn to their full potential. My last Ofsted inspection was in 2018. I was graded good overall with some outstanding areas.
I offer the government funding for all ages, and provide evening and weekend babysitting too .
My Experience
I have looked after my own children and other children for 16 years now. I have lots of experience with all ages, from newborns to older school children.

We can’t thank Domenica enough! Our daughter was 11 months old when she started and her first visit to Domenica gave me such reassurance as a first time mum, she seemed settle straight away. It was heart warming to see how Domenica was very loving towards Ella and how quickly she returned that love. We felt very blessed to have found such a caring, dedicated and capable childminder.
Domenica would send me daily updates to start with, keeping me in the loop as to what Ella was eating, her nappies and photos of things she had been doing in the day. This was such a delight knowing what Ella had been up to and to see how much fun she had been having.
Domenica has always gone above and beyond, finding lots of fun activities to do, taking Ella on lots of great trips and she has always been very flexible and thoughtful. Ella has also enjoyed the home cooked food telling me that ‘Domenica is the bestest cooker in the whole world!’ ☺️ Ella has progressed and learnt so much with Domenica and has made some lovely friends along the way too.
We would definitely recommend Domenica and we are so sad that Ella is not with her anymore due to a move - what a fantastic childminder.

My daughter has been going to Dom since she was 9 months old. As a first time mother I was dubious about returning to work and had awful anxiety that Amelia will be looked after.
She is due to start school in September so Amelia won't be going back full time to Dom and to say I'm heart broken is an understatement. Amelia absolutely loves going and looks forward to it. They get up to all sorts with indoor play, groups, trips to the farm/pick your own and creating their own little master peices to bring home.
Amelia is well fed and cared for and has made some great friends forever.
I can't recommend Dom enough, she and her children have become like family and we will be keeping in touch when Amelia leaves

I'm gutted to be moving out of the area and leaving behind this reliable childminder. She has supported my daughter for the past couple of years and helped her to flourish and develop at an amazing rate! Domenica gives the children fantastic opportunities and experiences which I will greatly miss. My daughter has loved all the home cooking and experiencing different foods in this setting.

My son has been looked after by Domenica for about two years now and I am amazed how far he`s come under her care. He started since he was about 10 months old. We were new to the area, but Domenica made our transition smooth and easy, she gave us all her support during my son`s first weeks in her setting so he settled in very well and I could go to work knowing my little one is well taken care of in a happy, lovely and safe environment. Over the years I could see that she really loves the children in her care, she does loads of fun activities with them and she knows how to develop their skills as they grow up. I love the personal touches that she brings, little gifts for us to cherish as the years go by and our children grow. I can`t thank Domenica enough!

Domenica has looked after both of my children for just over a year and a half now, and I have found that both my children feel comfortable and safe when they are there! It’s a very enjoyable time for them. Domenica has provided excellent care for them and I feel happy knowing my children are being looked after in a clean, happy, fantastic environment. Would definitely recommend Domenica!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I have been very fortunate to find a childminder as capable and dedicated as Domenica .She exudes gentleness and kindness and you can tell that she genuinely loves the children she cares for. My daughter has benefited from interaction with Domenica since she was just 3 months old – and the only reason we have finished contracting is because we are moving to another city. I dreaded returning to university after summer leave, however Domenica made the transition as pain-free as possible. Her home is a friendly, warm and welcoming environment and it is a wonderful privilege to know that my baby has been in such a caring and loving environment that is conducive to her development and socialisation. The social aspect has been crucial to my daughter's development - it has been brilliant to see her mix with other children.
Domenica also goes above and beyond of what is expected of her and is very proactive in dealing with situations. Also, loved the personal touches like making a mother’s day card for me with my little girl photo on it…it is something that I will always cherish.
It has been wonderful to work with Domenica and I will definitely miss her.

My little girl has been going to Domenica for a few weeks now and loves it. Ever since her first visit when we went to fill in forms Domenica has made her feel very welcome and it is like a home from home environment. I would recommend Domenica to anyone.
