Fantastic! Highly recommend!

Sancroft Childcare Services is wonderful! Stacey, Yolanda and Paige have looked after our little boy for the past 6 months, and we've been so happy with their care. Communication is great (we even had a parents' evening!) And they obviously really care about him and his development. He's come on in leaps and bounds since being there, and enjoys the range of activities and trips provided. As first time parents, we were nervous about how our boy would settle in, but Stacey and the team made our experience so positive. We couldn't recommend Sancroft Childcare Services more! An easy 5 stars.

Imaginative, caring and calm setting

Our daughter has been going to ‘Stacey’s house’ for 1 3/4 years, since she was 11 months old. We have full confidence knowing she is well looked after and her needs met. Stacey has turned her home and garden into what feels like a mini nursery, with so many carefully selected toys and a shed full of resources, to make imaginative and age appropriate play opportunities for all the children. Now our daughter can speak she tells us about new words, songs, stories, outings and games they have been playing, as well as what she ate each day - so we know Stacey is helping to expand her horizons beyond what we offer at home.

Stacey has always communicated with us professionally over any health issues, sleep patterns, weaning, potty learning and kept an amazing diary of notes and photos showing her developmental progression. She has shared knowledge and offered advice when we’ve asked.

We are so grateful to Stacey, her assistant Yolanda, and appreciate the family atmosphere at the setting where our daughter gets to mix with various ages and has developed a friendship and bond with everyone there. It’s been a huge relief knowing she is always happy to be dropped off each day.

Fully recommend Sancoft Childcare Services. Always very reliable and organised.

Loving, trustworthy and calm environment

Highly recommend Sancroft Childcare services. Stacey and Yolanda have looked after both my boys over the past 3 years. The setting is very calm and as a result both my boys are happy, well behaved and confident! Stacey has kept us up to date on their progress and is attentive to their needs. She’s also trustworthy, reliable and has accommodated us with flexibility over the years.

Horrible experience - hiding incident/injury

On the 3rd day of childcare, our baby comes home with a bib (he only wears bib at meal time) when we removed it we found scratches on his neck and ear.
We called Stacey (voicemail) and texted a picture asking if she knew what happened, this was 1h after the pick up.
She replied only the next morning, leaving us the whole night worrying if our 9 month old might have hit his head!
She said that she had "forgotten" to mention an incident with another child at her care who tried to hug our son and scratched him with their finger nails! We asked for elaboration. Next thing she did was to cancel the childcare which was scheduled for the next day, saying she can not provide care for our LO even though we had a contract that required 30 days notice to terminate. Happy to provide all our communications to anyone questioning about this childminder.

I have to add that at the first session of settling in, she did not allow me inside to help my son get to know her and her place. She took him from the door even though he was bawling and was red and out of breath. I insisted that she allows me to stay with him a bit but she said NO!
She also allowed her older kid (approx. teenage) and their friends (unprofessional and unregistered) to play with toddlers and babies in her care.

Thank you for your feedback, Laurent and Meadow Doyen. I am sorry to hear that you are frustrated by the choice made to terminate the contract with immediate effect. However, as stated in the contract, 30 days’ notice does not apply when parent/carers behaviours pose a risk to the safety and well-being of the other children in my care. Unfortunately, we cannot change this policy due to the duty of care we have towards our children, but we do make reasons clear and offer immediate financial compensation for this in the formal notice. We make these decisions with the highest level of consideration and consult regulatory bodies, who supported our decisions.

Whilst I understand that you are frustrated because I terminated our contract and that the outcome of your complaint to OFSTED was not favourable to you, this does not permit the right to post unfounded accusations
(Unproven by CCTV on the premises) in an attempt to smear my childcare setting.

Again, we thank you for your feedback and we do hope you are able to move on to a more positive experience in the future.

Fantastic, caring and dedicated

We started sending our little girl to Stacey when she was 11 months old. Unfortunately we were not with her for long as we had to relocate but the time we had with Stacey was amazing. Our little one struggled to settle in after months of lockdown and Stacey went above and beyond to support her, including giving up her time over the weekend to provide consistency and familiarity. Stacey is incredibly passionate about her job and it is clear through her organisation and dedication to care for and help children's progress. She provided a total home from home experience and as first time parents, it was made very easy and comfortable to leave our little girl with her. As an educator myself, I was incredibly impressed with Stacey's professional way that she supports children's development and assesses their progress. I think we will find it difficult to match the quality of Stacey's care - she is kind, caring and completely dedicated to her job. It is evidently not just a career for her, but a vocation. Thank you Stacey!!!!

Loving and caring childminder

Stacey has been taking care of our daughter since she was 14 months old. Our daughter always loved going to Stacey's. We felt that our daughter was always given loads of care and love from Stacey. Stacey was always very helpful and flexible and worked with us closely when potty training. There were daily activities with many days out. We were given regular reports on our daughter's development and Stacey kept a progress book with photos of our daughter's fun and educational time. Stacey is very caring and loving and we couldn't have chosen a better childminder for our daughter. We can only highly recommend Stacey.

Great childminder!

Stacey has been taking very good care of our twins since they were 6 month old (they are now almost two). We are so thankful that we have found her. We can't recommend Stacey enough. She is very kind, caring and understanding. She is happy to accommodate our schedule if needed which is a big plus as we are both working parents. We have never had to worry when our twins are with her and the most important thing is that they love her.

Joyful

We couldn't have chosen a better minder for our 3 children. Although we do live a little bit away from Deptford, it does help that Staceys home is a short walk from deptford station for work. She has been nothing but warm, very motherly and caring towards our children and the love they show her in return really warms our hearts. Stacey has made going back to work easier to handle and we can't thank her enough.

warm,safe and fun environment

Stacey have been looking after my son for over a year now. She is a very passionate lady and very easy to talk to. Fun well plan activities, including day trips out and all meals are home cooked. Her paper work is very thorough and is given feedback about his day in a handy book.
I highly recommend her.

Excellent Childminder

Stacey has been my sons childminder for over a year now she is a kind, warm and friendly childminder who throughly enjoys her role providing nurturing care. When my son was ill Stacey made him some homemade chicken soup which he loved. I also love that fact she's not in it for the money and has very affordable rates.

5 stars overall!
