About Me

I have been childminding for 9 years now. My home is in Moordown area, walking distance from St Walburgas primary school, Charminster library and the local park and the Queen’s Park children centre, too. I am a mum to 2 children, 9 and 13 years old. I am Ofsted registered and I hold level 3 qualification as well as Paediatric First aid certificate, DBS and I regularly update my Safeguarding certificate.
I speak Slovak, Czech, also bit of Hungarian and German.
I am keen to celebrate each child’s cultural , social or religious background and to work closely with parents to be able to provide same opportunities for all children.

I do believe in giving children freedom to explore and play. And through play and socialising with their peers I witness children achieving and developing in a happy and homely environment that I endeavour to provide. Parents and carers are encouraged to communicate with me so they can express their wishes or ideas regarding to what children can experience when in my care. My setting has a lovely garden, where we dig, plant and grow.. Children can get as messy as they wish, whether it is sand, water or mud
they like to play with. I find being outdoors is very important and provides children with large spaces, freedom to move, climb, make up games and learn about beauty found in nature. We often go on outings to places like Moors Valley country park, beach, Kinston Lacey, Avon heath park and other play parks in Bournemouth or Stour valley.
Depending on age of children, I do introduce children to routine activities such as singing time, cooking activities, arts and crafts, tidy up time, story time, play dough.
