About Me
I have been working with children since the age of 12 starting with casual babysitting, I knew this was the career I wanted. I have a lovely house situated near the town centre and a small park just outside my gate. I am a parent of three gorgeous children who would love some friends to socialise with.

My Experience
Since leaving college in 2000 I have worked in nurseries as a nursery nurse then left to become a sole charge nanny which I had been doing for approx 6years. I am now a registered childminder which I started when my son was born in 2010. I have experience in Senco especially Down Syndrome, Autism & ADHD
My Qualifications
I am a registered Childminder and a qualified nursery nurse with a Btec national diploma in childhood studies, I have recently renewed my first aid certificate and taken unit one in home childcare. I have also completed courses on the EYFS and child protection.
My Availability
I am available to work Mon -Fri but will also do occasional babysitting hours flexible and agreed with parents I have space for children during the day and can do school drop off/collections. I currently collect from Newcroft primary Shepshed I will also collect from playgroups.

Emma has been looking after my children for 18 months. My youngest started with Emma just before he turned two. He was struggling with his speech and development and Emma had worked with us to put additional steps in place to aid in his development. She made sure we worked together to have the same mechanisms in place in the setting and at home. His speech therapist has also commented on the comforting and encouraging environment she offers.
Emma also cares for my school age child during the holidays and he has a wonderful time on days out and days in at Emma's setting.

Em has looked after both my pre-school age boys over the past 3 years and has been very flexible around the part time work that I have done. Both boys have loved going to Ems and settled in well. She provides a warm and safe environment and always puts the children in her care first. Definitely recommend Emma.
