My name is Julie
I'm happily married with 2 grown up children.
We have a small dog called Rolo.
I have worked with children for over 30 years now & I have loved every minute.
When i'm not working I like to keep fit & spend time with my family.
My Experience
I have been an Ofsted registered childminder for 16 years. Before that, I worked as a nanny for several families in and around the Ipswich and Woodbridge area. I have also worked in private nurseries and playgroups
I have over 30 years of childcare experience & have cared for children from birth-16 years
I chose to become a childminder when my oldest child started a nursery in 2005.
I have looked after lots of children over the last 16 years & lots of them I have had for over 8 years now.
I pick up from Hillside Primary School & Marks Catholic School.
I care for children from birth to the end of years 6.
I make a point to go to local tot's groups as I feel the children need to get to mix with a wide range of children from different age, abilities & cultures.
I love to visit the local park's & in the summer we meet up with other childminders to do lots of fun days out.
My Qualifications
I have these qualifications:
Diploma in childcare N.V Q level 3
Safe garding children
Frist aid
Every childminder has to have a DBS.
I have also had one done for my husband, my assistant & my daughters.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £8.00 per hour
- Childminding from £4.20 per hour
Fees are £5.00 per hour per child for per-school aged children.
Fees are £15.00 per session per child for school-aged children 's term time only.
children entitled to the government funded hours will need to paid for extra hours over the 15/30 hours.
Every child will have access to milk,water,fruit juice & squash at all time's

My daughter has been cared for by Julie since she was 22 months old.
Returning back to work was very stressful, but Julie’s ‘can do’ approach made it much easier and really lifted a huge weight for me. She met anything I asked for, it was no problem at all.
From the 1st visit I knew that Julie was the one I trusted to look after my daughter. It was great to observe the setting while completing a few bits of paperwork. It was such a positive, happy and friendly atmosphere and I could see that the other children in her care were most importantly safe and happy!
Julie‘s setting has a great playroom and outdoor space for the children.
My daughter has been attending for a year now. She gets so excited when she knows she’s going to Julie’s after the weekends/holidays. I can’t praise Julie enough for her flexibility and fantastic work ethic! You can really see that she loves the children she cares for and gives them so much time.
My daughter has learnt so much in the time that she has been in Julie’s care. She takes the children out every week to groups or play centres. It’s really lovely and I will get updates and photos via WhatsApp!
If you are looking for a friendly, caring and accommodating childminder! Look no further! Julie is the best of the best!

Julie is going to be my son's child minder from the new school term. I was quite nervous about this as I haven't used a child minder before as my son has always gone to nursery.
Julie soon put my mind at ease and my son felt very happy round her home and has already been asking when he can go there !

Julie has made my return to work a dream. From the first phone call I knew I liked her. My little man is so happy to spend his time with her. He is 3 years old and gets so much from the visits to playgroup and other places. Julie's assistant is equally attentive and lovely.
The drop off and pick up runs so smoothly and is very convenient for work. I would love to recommend Julie in a couple of years as for now my little man has a space and is definitely staying put. She even helped potty train him in 3 days!!!

My daughter Summer has been cared for by Julie since December 2013 and I couldn't be happier. Summer is well socialised with children attending Julie's and also within all the tots groups and soft play areas that they attend. Her vocabulary has changed dramatically since being with Julie and she is well spoken for a 20 month old toddler.
She is always happy to leave me and often asks to go Julie's on my days off.
I receive a daily diary which is so comforting for a mum and I always know what she's eaten and done throughout the day. Summer has been introduced to many new foods that we struggle to get her to eat at home! Julie has a magic touch and I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a childminder.

My daughter, Alexis, has been going to Julie's since July 2013. Alexis settled in very well after transferring from another childminder and on the 2nd day of attending was quite happy for me to leave her. Julie does all sorts of activities and takes the children to lots of different tots groups so they get socialised with lots of other children.
Alexis has learnt so much since being with Julie and really enjoys her days with Julie, even on weekends she asks to go to Julie's!!
I would definitely recommend Julie to parents of any age children, she is very attentive, informative and great with the children.

Julie has been looking after my daughter Isla since October 2011. Isla always gives a big smile when she see's Julie, i know she loves it there and never cry's when i leave her there which she often does with other people, As she's just turned 1. Her home is welcoming and relaxing, she takes Isla out to a toddlers group, and always takes the time when i go to get Isla to tell me what she did that day. I know my daughter is learning a lot with Julie. Would recommend to anyone.
