About Me
Hi I'm an Ofsted Registered Childminder,who has vacancies now for your little ones near Goodwood /Evington / Hamilton/ Rowlatts Hill area.I'm a fully qualified nursery nurse, and also a member of the NCMA.I am located in the Goodwood/ Evington area of Leicester,with easy access to the Leicester General and Nuffield Health Hospitals.I have 3 children of my own, two daughters 30 and 20 and a son 27 years of age.Myself and my children hold a current CRB/DBS check. At my recent OFSTED Inspection i was graded Outstanding.I have also received many awards for my work with children over the years, including childminder of the year, Stars for Children Award and Citizen of the Year in Leicester 2008.I feel i offer a warm and friendly home from home environment in which your child can learn and play and have fun experiences.We have a wide variety of toys and art activities,which include multicultural festivals, indoor and outdoor play opportunities We also visit a lovely parent/,carers and tots groups,go to local parks and on outings to farms etc to help the children's social skills. please contact me for further information.
My Experience
Apart from having my own children who are now young adults. ,I have a wide variety of experience, working with children/young people.I have previously ran a local playgroup, worked in a children and family centre .I also offer respite care through social services. I have been childminding for many years and also offer overnight care.I have worked with children with a wide variety of specific needs,including cerebral palsy,autism eczema,asthma visual impairment ,dyslexia etc. From new born babies to teenagers.My aim is for the children to be cared for in a warm caring, safe and happy environment.Having learning experiences which enable them to have lots of fun whilst gaining in their development, yet at the same time giving peace of mind to their parents.
My Qualifications
I am N.N.E.B. Qualified Nursery Nurse. I have also completed numerous training over the years including First Aid, Food Hygiene, Safe Guarding children and young people,Memphis SOS. EYFS... Starting with the child, Four Themes.Also i have received specialist training through Rainbows for specific disabilities to enable me to care for children needing... enteral tube feeding, or who have asthma or epilepsy.
My Availability
At present i have vacancies due to children moving on to full time school.I can do pick ups from local schools Whitehall or Rowlatts Hill and Little poppets day nursery Please contact me for availability as i am very flexible with my working hours and days to suit the needs of the parents.

- Childminding from £5.50 per hour

Carla has looked after all 4 of my children through the years. She has such a kind and caring heart and my kids loved going there. They went on trips out and once a week to playgroup. She does a variety of arts and crafts messy play outdoor play visits to the park. It really was a home from home and couldn’t recommend anyone better. Gutted we can’t use her again. Thanks so much for all you did in helping my little ones grow xx
