Viv Pullin Childminder
Hello, my name is Viv Pullin and I am an Ofted registered childminder, and have been childminding since 2007. Previous to this I worked at the local school and also helped run a Beaver scouts group. I live with my husband and our 2 children who enjoy spending time together and exploring the English countryside.
I have an ofted grade of GOOD and am always looking to improve the service in my setting, to do this I attend training courses and information evenings held by Childhood support services and the Welwyn Hatfield childminders network .I graduated in 2023 with an Early Years honours degree and have up to date first paediatric first aid.
I provide an all inclusive service and tailor toys games and activities to your child's interests.we have a wonderful outside play area where children can play, explore and enjoy the back garden.I believe this promotes good physical and mental development ensuring children achieve all that they can.
My Experience
I have been childminding for 17 years and have cared for children of all ages ranging from six months to 12 years. I provide school collection from Welwyn St Marys and Tenterfield Nursery .I have strong links with both settings to support childrens learning and development.
This setting has everything your child will need wrap around care and holiday day care.As well as the fabulous local amenities, here in this setting we have a large outdoor play area for the children to enjoy.
My Qualifications
I am have an honours degree in Early years and development I hold the mandatory NVQ Level 3 in childcare learning and development, paediatric first aid and health and hygiene certificates. I also have a fully enhanced DBS check and have attended training with the National Child Minding Association PACEY in safeguarding and national up-dates, I am also a member of the Welwyn-Hatfield childminding network.

07:0-6.30 Monday to Friday; however this can be flexible in some cases and with prior notice
